thanks. They have waited a long time compare to other games for dlc. Usually they already have one extension out by now

Actually Darrah, or Laidlaw tweeted they are working on a SP dlc so...
Are you talking about the Patch 5 Beta that adds the Black Emporium and other content? It's a cool addition, but lets be realistic... People want to explore more of the story rather than play the game. If anything, they need to come out with another book!

Haha isn't that the truth! Eagerly waiting personally...

they have to fix most of the bugs to make the game playable before they can ask for more money

Yeah, there was a tweet that they were 'working on SP DLC,' but 'working on' is a very broad term. They're 'working on' DLC. They're 'working on' ME4. They're 'working on' a live action Mass Effect movie. The fun thing about 'working on' is that it's not actually offering any time frame.
I'm not condemning them for being vague, mind you. The programmers are probably working on the patch side of things first and foremost right now, while the writers do work on the story and/or get the cast in for voiceover. I wouldn't expect any kind of time frame or release until after the next patch comes out, which will probably be at least a month, maybe two.

They said they had begun work, which I take to mean that they hadn't even started beyond concept. So I'm not expecting a release until early summer.

isn't it a little too early for them to be talking about SP DLC stuff the game has only been around 3 months?

Yes, I believe there were news of "Yes, we're working on something"
But to tell the truth, they could've been "working on something" a week before release - writing-wise. Ideas come and go, and it wouldn't be surprising if the writers had a good idea for a story DLC before the game was even released. Aaand people are going to take this as "hurr durr they cut stuff out to sell as DLC"... Despite the fact that you can have an idea at any time of your life, regardless of other things you do.

I thought the same thing, but then I went back to look at the release dates for the first two games:
Return to Ostagar was released for 360 and PC in late January 2010, 2 1/2 months after DA: O was released.
Legacy was released in late July 2011, 3 1/2 months after DA2 was released.
And that's not counting the same day DLC that they also had ready for both games. So we are actually at a place now (3 mos after release), where I'd expect to hear some news. My guess is that the crazy bugs in DA: I has slowed their progress towards DLC release. I'm expecting to get one in a month or two, to be honest.

SP= Single Player.
And I honestly can't wait. My one strong complaint about DA:I was that there just wasn't enough story for the scope of the game. Once DLC arrives I'll be a much happier bunny

At the time you posted your first comment, people were saying the Beta 5 program was a SP DLC, but now it's just a patch. The only thing I've heard about a DLC coming to Inquisition's SP story has been released about a week ago. In the beginning of March actually. Actually, I'm not sure... Either way, SO STOKED!!!
It would be awesome to find out it's an expansion pack like Awakening!!!
