ATTENTION BIOWARE: fix this crap because enough is enough

WTF BIOWARE These 3 enemies in the pictures below, DO NOT HAVE PERCEPTIVE so they are not supposed to be seeing, attacking, and making you un-stealth. I'm so fed up with this broken combat system that fallows no logical patter to how monsters determine who they're going to attack.

 

 

THIS ENEMY CAN UN-STEALTH YOU, AS WELL AS SHOOT YOU WHILE YOU'RE IN STEALTH

THIS ONE HAS 2 PROBLEMS WITH IT:

1 IT SHOOTS IT ICE BEAM AT YOU WHEN YOU'RE IN STEALTH, AND WITH NO LINE IF SIGHT AND 2-3 WALLS BETWEEN YOU

2. IT'S ICE GROUND ATTACK IS HITS YOU EVEN THOUGH THERE ARE 2-3 WALLS BETWEEN YOU AND ALSO DOES IT'S ICE GROUND ATTACK AT YOU WITH 2-3 WALLS BETWEEN AND WITH NO LINE OF SIGHT

im with you OP. These problems, along with all the other need to be addressed! Im sick of seeing GOTY spam, and tiny 1_2  fix "patches".

 

@ D: these posts can and will continue to be created, until the problems  are fixed!!! For FOUR  months, weve been told repeatedly, "were aware of the issues, but we cannot give you a time frame for a fix"...Now theyre having players beta test new content, before fixing problems that have been, or created with the littlr patches..

Actually, if I remember correctly the issue is that once they start an "alert" or attack animation stealth doesn't interrupt it.  So stealthing after the Despair Demon starts his beam, or the Knight/Horror get in their fireball/porcupine pose means they will still fire.  This actually applies to every enemy, these are just the most noticeable because of the long duration/windup.  As I'm sure you know, taking damage removes stealth, so yeah, if they start their attack, you stealth and then don't avoid the attack of course it will remove your stealth.

 

Take away is this - stealth before you are in range.  If you can't, then avoid their attacks.  All of these projectiles can be avoided with lateral movement and/or cover.  Yeah they will still get you occasionally, but it isn't nearly as big of a problem as you are making it out to be.

 

As for the ground attack, that's just the way those skills work.  We can do they same thing with ground targeted skills and a marginal LOS, they computer is just a little better at it.

You're talking about going into stealth while in line of sight of an enemy so you're not getting the problem. Those enemies are pulling that crap without any of those things you mentioned happening.

 

Here is how stealth works so far with every enemy in the game without perceptive:

If you go into stealth out of line of sight, and then come around the corner, only the enemies that have perceptive on them, can un-stealth or see you in order to hit you with an attack. If you stealth in front of an enemy, that's different because the enemy locks onto you so it can hit you, but once you move away from the enemy, it can no longer see you and thus ignores you.

 

If I stealth at the beginning of the level then run near the area where the despair demon is, it's ground attack nails me which is impossible because it does not have perceptive on it.

 

Same with the Red Templar Knights and horror's. When going stealth across the map/out of line of sight, you are supposed to be able to run in circles around any enemy that does not have perceptive without becoming un-stealthed by those enemies, but yet the Knights and Horror's always un-Stealth you, and they're not supposed to be doing that at all. If archer's don't un-stealth or attack you, then all 3 of those enemies are not supposed to be either especially the Despair demon's ground ice attack with 2-3 walls between you and it.
