The battles with High Dragons are the pinnacle of this game. No fights are nearly as challenging, require as much effort, planning, or skill, and nothing gets your pulse pounding like desperately reviving comrades with your rogue when the dragon is low on health and you're so close to victory.

 

When I killed the final dragon in Emprise du Lion, I didn't feel joy or accomplishment; I felt sad, because I knew I wasn't going to encounter anything like it again throughout the playthrough. It's no coincidence that shortly after, I finished the Main Quest and started a new character.

No.That is what made Skyrim's Dragons the equivalent of rabbits in a MMO.

No, randomised dragon fight would cheapen the whole thing. Just look at how it turned out for Skyrim, so no.

Nah, I'd rather not... I play dragon age for the story, not the fetch questing of sandbox elements that don't really work. I will fight the dragons with each character I create, as part of the story, and that's enough.
