Wasn't able to post today, my graphic card suddenly said goodbye and I had to fix it. Will try to write something as soon as possible.

 

By the way, I tried to use the mobile version of the forum but seriously; what kind of ein verdammter Haufen Hundekot is this? I wasn't able to login on the mobile version and when I logged into the full version of the forum with my origin account I had to create a new Forum-ID called "Maj0nese 2". 

 

About the twins; Naomi will probably turn the suite upside down while Chris has to decide whether to look after for Nadi or his sister before she accidentally sets the whole place on fire.

Okay some hours will be passing in game time.  The alcohol has been intercepted, the music has been turned down, Nadi might get in her dress because of Darya's pleading and because it might give her a moment away from the prying eyes of Kurik (you dog you).  I'll post up in a couple of hours real time about it, but feel free if you post until then to fill the space with some character interaction.

The kitchen is a bit of a mess, not from a grime point of view but from the point of view of Naomi pulling the things out.  Room service has arrived so that may sate Chris' twin, however, I doubt she put stuff back  And who knows?  Maybe she decides to cook something anyway...which might have Chris occupied.

Now, to clarify, I Pm'd some people and Menos' and Naomi's reactions are kind of based on what I went over with their players.  It isn't as if anyone else can react, but those two characters, let's say, were fastest in being able to do what they did.  You all can write whatever you want to do for reactions for your other characters.

Second, just a note of clarification:  The anchors used to pull off the skycar are typical mag anchors, yes the kind the maintenance crew was using to keep up appearances at the university. That does not mean the maintenance crew is linked to this at all.  It was simply a story reference to put in a device which I wanted to use in this scene.  Basically mag anchors are kind of common utility devices in the ME universe,let's say, and they let you grab hold of sold things using me tech.  So, you don't, you know, have to interrogate the window washers at the university...

Now, you guys, can do whatever you want as a reaction, okay?  Stuff happened.  All I ask is you let me handle the reaction of what happens to either Nadi based on what you do or the jetbike.  Darya, I mean, can do anything from grabbing Nadi to saying something to her, to..who knows...let her do whatever it is she seems to insinuate she's about to do.  

You guys can go to the other skycars too.  Fastest if you start running out to the hotel hall and down to them now, though, since the main landing platform is 30 meters.  It takes a bit, you know, to run down there, open the cars and hop in...then get going, but it doesn't take forever.  Or, you know, you can bypass going anywhere, really, and who knows, keep your escort in the building and safe.  

Whatever, you kind of get the point.  If you have questions, post them here.  But all characters at this point, basically know what is up, and even if they haven't seen the jetbike as anything but a passing blur that trashed one of their skycars, or only know Nadi is in the room with Darya, safe, maybe...you can sort that out in any writing if you so chose.

Can Menos see the skycar and the balcony nadi ran out to from his position in the living room? And if so, how durable are the windows of the living room, cause menos might try something stupid if he realizes Nadi's left the building and the attacker might be coming on a second pass.

Darya (RT) hits Nadi with a stasis.... "That'll keep her from going anywhere."

 

Darya suspects Nadi might have been waiting for the "attacker." "Please don't try and stop me." was a big clue.

The rider here is getting away, overload and shots and all.  Mystery rider will survive to fight another day, but the good news is pretty much you guys have taken care of the threat of this beginner mission, and now will deal with the aftermath, which shouldn't be too hard.

Jumped into act because Julia was writing damaging the bike, which is fine but I didn't want it to become a pile on of the next thing you know is sniper fire, and grenades and biotics, and god knows what else a party of 8 well trained mercs are firing at one jetbike in a millisecond.  There will be plenty of things to kill along the way, just not this one for story purposes.

Not that you guys can't try to chase it but the bike is substantially powered, and will outpace an X3M for our story purposes.  What a vehicle can't outrun is a police radio, but whoever was on the vehicle clearly caught C-Sec flatfooted, to get into the Presidium and to get out, so ultimately the thing and rider get away.  Again, doesn't matter because you did what you guys needed to 'win' the mission.

Back!  Here, look, I worried this seems too controlled and had that thought, but here's the stuff to happen:

1.  Nadi probably could be written by any of you now.  She's really mad, probably because she thought she had a chance to get away with something and clearly you all stopped her.  Even if you did give her a fish dog .  Maybe she won't get into her dress (unless you guys force her too) but that wasn't necessarily part of the agreement anyway.  All you have to do is get her to the Tower and basically there's nothing that's stopping that now.  One thing she won't do is talk about the rider or 'if' (haha) and how she knows her, or what they were going to do.

2.  C-Sec will show up.  They're kind of a bit stunned at how the cycle and rider went without raising alarm until it was too late.  Part of that did happen to do with the speed of the rider, a snarl in the overworked transit authority may have missed the anomaly in the pattern, but that will have to be left up to an investigation.  If they get a whiff that Nadi may have known the rider, they'll want to question her but being the Secretary's daughter, they'll let her go in time for the event (even if she won't tell them) and basically agree to arrange having her come to C-Sec for an 'interview' with her father after she gets to the event.  They aren't worried she'll run, or be hard to find because, well, Nadi isn't....Thus C-Sec won't prevent you guys from doing your jobs either.

3.  If you guys write whatever, up to and/or including showing up at the ballroom doorways, then I'll give you Secretary Bel Nu's reaction.  Nadi will come along.  You won't have to stasis her to come, either.  She's defeated in her little plan.  And it probably is a good idea, anyway, to not rough her up for future payment and relations.  Besides, maybe Bel Nu will now have something more to say....

Okay, there's stuff I'm in the process of PMing you guys, that your individual characters have noticed.  They're like little rpg awards and will lead to your unique character's insight on things and clues just for each of you.

Hey, I thought that was the whole point of the mission! Besides Naomi now recieved a permanent bonus of +2 to her cooking ability which grants everyone who eats her meals a health regeneration buff and some bonus armor that decays over time.

 

 

Exam no. 2 over (hell that one was easy), the last one will be next week so I think I'm able to post again (for now).

Got behind, and tied up with CS stuff.  Actually we're pretty current but I think when Maj0nese has his exams done this week, I'll push for this more.

Okay, but I'm a bit lost right now, sorry to say. It's just one of those things that happens. Although there haven't been any real monster posts or anything, I've been writing prep stuff for CS. Next mission could be a big one.

It's fine.  Here's what you can figure out from overhearing C-Sec and talking to Arcadia, if anyone wants to write it before I do.

1.  The heist that C-Sec is talking about turns out to be the client who was looking to hire Stormhammer for escort duty.

2.  The heist was pulled off by a rider on a custom jetbike, with a turian skull on the large tail fin.  Should sound familiar...

3.  Get that far and there's a decision to make as to whether to let the cops handle it and give them over the information you know (because they haven't yet put two and two together, though they eventually will), OR you can decide to look into it yourselves and how you go about that.  Which could lead to a possible award, would be the thought there.

Hell yeah, this feels just too good to be true! The last exam was easy as hell (something about microbiology and the chemical transmitting of electric membrane potentials at synapses with acetylcholine as neurotransmitter, nothing complicated) and I have plenty of time to write now.

 

For Stormhammer I'm certainly going to post something tomorrow! Back in business ^^
