I noticed that Blackwall has more armor then me when he has guard. I gave him Trust the Steel to test it out. My offtank S and S Templar (me) does not have it. When Blackwall has no Guard he has LESS armor then me cause my gear is better. Is it working properly now? People say it only effects rear armor but where can you even see your rear number armor? All the I see in game is frontal armor and total armor.

Check the front armor. If it goes up when you have armor bonuses, then it is no longer buggy. The problem was, as I understood it, that the passives that affect armor, apply to the rear (total as you call it) but not the front.
Someone correct me if I'm wrong. Let's say you have total armor of 10, and a shield with armor level 1 (easy numbers).
Total armor (rear) = 10
Front armor = 11 (10+1)
Now, let's say you get a passive that increases armor by 20% (2 armor if you have 10 total)
If it's still buggy, then you'd see
Total armor (rear) = 12 (10+2)
Front armor = 11 (10+1)
If it's no longer buggy then you should see
Total armor (rear) = 12 (10+2)
Front armor = 13 (12+1)
I could be wrong though.
