There are no wrong answers, though I'm sure if this thread goes long enough, someone will try to find it!

The ability to walk away from a conversation (makes for much less of me accidentally clicking on someone who I wasn't trying to talk to and then having no choice but to trudge through a conversation I wasn't in the mood to have)
Also the character creator is fantastic and there's so much more diversity. No more looking like every second NPC (the very first time I played Origins I unintentionally ended up looking like Leliana's identical twin
)

I enjoyed re-spawning enemies that let me get well ahead of the power curve. Level 26 Inquisitor beating down level 23 Cory is quite fun. For me.

I'm also glad that archery is fun now. The guard mechanic and active defense style also makes warriors much more fun for me to play as this time.
Most importantly, a romance option with a legit beard. I feel like I haven't seen that since Anomen.

Me too. Pity they're so limited...(Hinterlands before completing the Mages/Templars assignments, the Mire....and anything else?).
And I'm pretty sure the Mire' one is a bug. Your character says that "you'll have a path clear of corpses on their way back" when you activate all the beacons, yet nothing in the environment changes at all.

I can finally explore this huge world they fleshed out.
Some zones aren't so good. Exalted Plains is pretty boring, you run around doing side quests, the undead spawning thing is annoying, there really isn't much lore, etc.
Some zones are excellent. Hissing Wastes is fantastic, you are given a large open area and told "GO EXPLORE, HERES ONE DRAWING TO GET YOU STARTED" and your exploration is rewarded with lore and sweet loot, you find hidden tombs in canyons and built into mountains, and slowly piece together a story lost to history.
It's freaking awesome, although by most forums the majority of people people went herp derp big an empty and missed out, I think it's hands down the most well done exploration zone in the game.
So yes, again, being able to explore parts of this huge world Bioware created. In DAO or DA2 you could only go to areas that had a primary quest tied to it, you could NEVER explore for exploration's sake, find easter eggs and hidden story lore, you had the beaten path and that was it.
But who played DA:O that didn't want to go deeper into the deep roads and see what they'd find? Who played DA2 and didn't want to go back to the primeval thaig and study it?
glad they introduced it. The exploration. It will only get better from here IMO

Well certain enemies re-spawn no matter what but it can take some time.Like you I spent some time farming templars and rebel mages. After that I hunted some of the level 12 enemies where the dragon is. They keep coming back so long as you run in a large enough loop plus you can gather some obsidian and royal elfroot if you want. I was so under leveled there for a while that I had to be very careful to only get one dragonling at a time.
The big spot for me is the emerald grave giants. Their levels actually scale to some degree. As they seem to be bosses they also give very large chunks of experience. You also can get some decent drops. All that's required is a nice big loop to run in and well some luck.

I like the fact we have a huge world, but I don't like that it feels dead.... It doesn't have that atmosphere, it doesn't make me want to explore it..... I hope that they'll keep the open world for the future and will improve it.
I'm also glad that I can make some really beautiful faces in the CC and some of the voice acting is top class... Whoever voiced Dorian should get an award.

From DAO to DA2 to DAI you can really feel the difference.

That feeling that I'm playing a Zelda game. My Inquisitor can defy logic with her mountain climbing skills. Lol

My favourite change? No idea. One thing I really like, is the graphics change.
One change I hate, is the change to much more realistic faces.

Alistair is sexier in this one.
And hilarious! I helped him out against mages who he thought might be poisoning his food, and his letter was just so typically Alistair! Never gonna eat food from that kitchen for a long time! Lol

The weather and environments are seriously amazing. One good example is when you're at Therinfal Redoubt talking to Barris the streams of water flowing down your armor and Barris's armor from the rain as well as the rain droplets splashing off the armor is so realistic looking. Little details like that add so much more immersion to the game. I actually dislike when Crestwood turns all sunny. I like rainy Crestwood better.
Also, mage staves. It's really a DA2 change but I'm glad they kept it. The way mages fight with staves, twirling it around, slamming it on the floor is so much epic looking than that sort of jab thing mages did with their staves in DA:O and a little spark shoots out. That was uninspiring. But a new change in this game is how enemy mages walk around and fight with a floating book and cast spells out of it. You should be able to do that stuff too. There has to be a reason why a lot of the craftable armors for the mages have books tied to their belts and stuff if not just for design aesthetics. I also like how enemy mages teleport a la the Evil Queen from Snow White and the Huntsmen by turning into a bunch of crows/ravens. Fade step is cool but I like the crow teleportation better.
