That for once I didn't hate any of the companions even if I disagreed with them, that I could go the whole game and NPC chatter changes and evolves over the course of the game and that even better I never heard NPCs repeating even once during the course of a play though.

I like the system with the companions, the love and hate system, it's much more natural this time, I can't just make them like/love/hate me with gifts, it makes it feel much more realistic to me.

Archery doesn't suck balls anymore.
in DAA archery was pretty overpowered.

Personal opinion:
Everything else is, for my taste, better in other games, e.g. Skyrim with mods looks much better than Inquisition. The open world, is also much better in Skyrim. For combat I prefer DA:O and NWN 2 style. The personal castle is also better in NWN 2 and in Origins I can, at least call, and see my gathered forces in the last battle. The companions in Origins are much more pleasant and natural. The story in Inquisition with Cory as the bad guy is also nothing special and UI, handling suffer from consolitis. Etc.etc.

Edit: And the charactor creator is the best so far, even if it needs work.
The only aspect of the character creator that I objected to were the extremely limited hairstyles. I can appreciate the reasons behind offering only unisex hair choices for all races and genders, but then they really didn't do that did they? The Qunari had horns, and the elves had vallaslin and the dwarves had tattoos and the humans had different tattoos; so why were we only given the same four hairstyles, plus variations on those same four?

Hm...I like the crafting (if only there were a lot more schematics
) the interactive banter was cool when it actually fired, this isn't unique to DA:I but I really appreciated having race choice back oh and the CC was much better than anything BW has done before (aside from the hair, eyebrows, and facial hair which were worse).
I tried!

Knight Enchanter is best Enchanter
Necromancer > Blood Mage
Rift Mage is Force Mage with cooler powers.

Jumping is probably the best change.
Though I do also like how when you're fighting dragons, you target individual legs or heads, rather than just pummeling away at some huge block. It felt more tangible. Much better than DA2. (Or another prominent unnamed game where you fight dragons).
(Worst change is having character animations to loot. Such an irritating time waste.)

Not much.
Crafting was great until they patched the aspect that made it viable.
Ten High Dragons = Fun.
The exploration is a bit more open-world than it used to be... which is neat. Not so many random insurmountable waist-high fences.
OOOH... and Nuggelopes NUGGERNAUTS! They're nifty.
But that is about it.
The character creation options are terrible, despite there being more. There isn't an option NOT to be hideously ugly. I don't know if it is just an uncanny valley issue... but I was able to make attractive female characters in DA2 and even DAO ... but I just can't seem to pull it off in Inquisition. Dragon Age Fugly more like.
The hair options are all terrible. Every single one of them.
The tattoo options are still crap and awful.
The voice options .... well, having two options is okay, except that one of them sounds decent and the other sounds like you're the only american in the game... which really doesn't fit given everyone else is English or French.
Jumping would be fine... except that it is the "jump" of a toddler who doesn't have enough force to manage more than a centimetre or two of ground clearance... and so it ends up looking like you're just stamping awkwardly. Sorta like the Skyrim jump, but even worse (and I initially claimed when Skyrim came out that the Elder Scrolls games were ruined forever because of the puny jump).
The main use for the jump is to suicide off steep slopes.
And Archery still sucks balls.
Or at least the fact that there is no good Rogue Spec for bows is kinda crap.

I like the advisors. It's fun when NPC's feel like they're more than just plot points, it makes the inquisition feel more real and like something larger than just the inquisitor. I love the guard and barrier mechanics.Obviously the crafting, I hope that shows up in future bioware games. Can you imagine crafting super cool space age armor in the next mass effect?

There are a lot of small things that really made the game better for me, particularly around inventory.
Not having to worry about crafting materials taking up loot space - as a classic hoarder, that made a big difference to me. Not having to continually shuffle inventory between party members; or worrying about sorting everything so I could find it. Having the sellable stuff automatically go into the valuables slot, especially once the patch fixed it so I didn't sell all the research items as well.
Once I figured out the crafting and upgrading system (which I admit took a while), that was really good as well.
I also like being able to jump over fences/rocks in my way, and the horses (once I figured out how to gallop).
I also really like the conquerable keeps, and hope they get expanded in future DLC.
Also the camp system works well, and seems more reasonable than the DAO version, where we always went back to the same spot, which was always just outside where we were.
I would like to be able to talk to and outfit party members in camps and keeps, so I don't always have to take the slog to Skyhold.

It is however with their modded version the previous titles are by far better in the CC

I really like that each companion had a unique "look." I like trying different armors on them just to see what it looks like. "Oh, let's see how this looks on Dorian! ... Not bad ..." Solas really does look like an apostate hobo (Viv: "unwashed apostate hobo") -- part of the reason I had him in Grey Warden armor for quite a while. Too bad so many of the Inquisitor's outfits look *horrible* ...

The item creation system. It's fun making super cool powerful gear.
Seconded. I also liked that the crafting system let you worry both about the specs and the looks of the gear. It's kinda like Project Runway (lame analogy, I know).

A decent melee mage class, only seen that in one other game and, I love playing a melee mage.
Try it with the weapon class restrictions removed mod. I'm playing an old school Arcane Warrior and it's awesome.

For me, there's a lot to like in Dragon Age Inquisition.
I really like the war table and crafting. The former was a good RP opportunity and gave me a sense of what was going on in my organization. The latter was fun, and I think they struck an excellent balance between customization and maintaining a unique look for the character. I'm warming up to exploration on my second playthrough, it allows my imagination to roam free. Mounts, though I don't use them, are very well done and have potential with better implementation (I have no incentive to use them if it means I won't hear banter). While environments have never been my top priority, they are so atmospheric I feel sometimes like I'm actually there (especially in The Cradle of Sulevin and Halamshiral). Judgments are neat and another great RP opportunity. Character creation continues it's upward trend, and oh my, so do the romance scenes.
Oh, and I love Solas. ![]()

Agreed about the mounts. That they're there is cool, but no one uses them. We hear banter little enough as it is. I'm hoping they'll either patch it and have mounts for companions, or someone will make a mod that does it.
Also, why not mounted combat? We could have a whole separate skill tree for it, with different skills in it depending on your class. Tell me you wouldn't have a blaster riding by a Venatori and slashing his head off with your Sulevin Blade.

For me, there were two improvements over DA2. Firstly the graphics were very impressive. Secondly the variety in environments. I felt many of the game areas were empty, pointless and tedious, but that is really the fault of the writers rather than the people who built the actual environments.

Being able to be a Qunari is pretty much the only good one.
