Well what if we had an All out Alien Invasion,

 

If you had to choose a 4 man team(yourself and 3 others), whom would they be? 

 

Yes you can reference Mass Effect, any sci fi or real world weapons and armor if you want too, in order to be able to equip your team.

2. OWA as a Cerberus Officer Sentinel/Miranda Expy

 

3. Mybudgee as a Vanguard with Annihilation Field with Biotic Charge and Nova

Now, ...if aliens truly wanted our planet: Why would they try the expensive and huge undertaking of a military invasion? Why wouldn't they just keep hidden and release a few carefully developed viruses, targeting both directly and food production?

Or just stay hidden and patiently wait until we mess up ourselves?

EDIT: Well, my entire post was basically what bEVE said.

 

If I were an alien species, I wouldn't attempt invading a planet I wanted to take by force.

 

I would just manufacture a highly contagious and deadly virus to wipe out the sentient life, and use drones to clean up the scraps.

 

Military might is worthless when 99.7% of it is on the ground bleeding from multiple brain hemorrhages or auto-immune diseases.

Well, it takes millions of years for the planet climate and ecology to recover from a global extinction event. I doubt that is the planet they would desire.

If you want to get realistic about this the whole thing falls apart.

An alien invasion or attack of any kind would never happen because there is nothing on earth that they would not be able to find any where else in the galaxy, not to mention the universe. We have nothing they cant more easily find and take from other planets. So what would the point even be?
