For anyone who listens to music while playing, what is your favorite?

 

Also, do you like it when people blast their music through their mics?

Mozart, Chopin, Beethoven, Bach - the classics

Present generation - Yanni, Dave Mathews band, Coldplay, A.R. Rahman among a few

There's also a bunch of Indian classical stuff I listen to but I doubt people here would be familiar with it.

 

If there's violin and piano involved heavily, I am so gonna listen to it.

 

And also, I am sure there's another thread similar to this. I hate people who play music in the lobby because they never match my taste.

Ever listen to lindsey stirling? She has been coming up on pandora and she does some great work with a violin music. Its quite good

Heard a few...I like her style of playing (quite different from the style I like to play, but I am no where as good though )

Metal. I prefer speed metal cause it gets me in the right mood (I'm sure Jane Doe will agree). Usually only when I PUG because I won't have a mic plugged in and I can listen to it loud

It depends on the arrangement, but Bach's "Air [on the G string]" could possibly be my favorite song of all.  Fantasia on a Theme By Thomas Tallis, by Ralph Vaughan Williams, is also up there for me.

I played a lot of Beethoven, Chopin, & Mozart on the piano (for about 8 years, when I was much younger), but I can't even sight read anymore.  Tragic, really.

 

I actually pretty much enjoy most music, outside of country and some rap.  

 

When I play ME3, I like to get hyped up by listening to the mad beats of My Singing Monsters.  That's ma shiz!

None.  I feel severely crippled on that odd game were my sound bugs out and I can't hear how close those Banshees are while they are teleporting.  In fact, if I hear music in a lobby, I will probably leave immediately.  Unless I really like the song.

 

If I was going to listen while playing, I would probably have classical (nothing in particular) playing quietly.  Just loud enough to hear, but not to interfere with the game sounds much.  Of course, that's for ME3.  Depending on what other game I'm playing, I might just blast something metal, probably Nightwish or Sirenia to drown out the game.
