A short Qunari.

I know I'm not alone in wanting a short stocky Qunari as a companion, where it looks like he or she hasn't grown into their horns yet.

You want a qunari kid/teen or a qunari the size of a human?

More like a very short human Qunari. But still built like your average Qunari.

That is likely a trait the qunari bred out of their species a long time ago.

A short qunari would be human size.

A short Qunari would be like Varric without chest hair; it just ain't happening. However, since there are rare traits they could inherit that even Tamassrans can't control it would likely still be possible, since Qunari without horns can be born. They would probably still be tall in comparison to other races, though, the shortest at the least perhaps being 5'9. Anything shorter than that would be way too risky lore-wise.

Well, we've gotten a tall dwarf (That carta chief guy in Valammar was almost as tall as my Qunari, but with the physique of any other dwarf. Terrifying.) so I suppose anything is possible.
Boses in DA:I are all ridiculously tall. I wouldn't consider the dwarf that was taller than a Qunari to be a Canon piece of information. It was just a gameplay feature, like infinite arrows, which had no grounds in the story or world lore.

Maybe he was some kind of lyrium infused freak of nature. Samson gets ridiculously huge too in his boss battle.

The avaar sky watcher (who is supposedly human) is nearly a full head taller than Iron Bull as well. Inquisition is weird with npc scales, a bit of an action game influence imo. Bosses and "tough" enemies are impossibly larger than everyone else of their race so they stand out in a fight.

Glue horns onto Varric's head. Bam.

I kind of puked over it, not because I would be impressed but because Bio totally screwed the lore over. I mean a giant dwarf, really Bio??

So no amount of blood magic can change your height? I kind of always felt blood magic limitations were never ending. Regardless a dwarf sized Qunari would just be fantastic... We need. That.
Dragon blood is that powerful.

Well let's see if this is going to work we need short qunari, giant dwarves, fat elves, hunchebacked humans and, oh lets make some blind, deaf, missing limbs, unable to walk, etc while we're at it.
Let Thedas be Theadas before it gets totally redonkulous.

Nah, I don't care about a short Kossith. I want a Kossith who's slimmer in body size! No more of this Big McLargeHuge crap. Give me a Kossith who's tall, nice and muscular but isn't built like The Hulk. Tone down the body builder nonsense.
