Please someone help me, I am on the PS4, I have a Human male Dual wield rogue inquisitor and something is definitely wrong with my armor schematics.

So I have the sturdy prowler coat schematic, as well as the prowler coat arms and prowler coat legs schematics. The problem is for whatever reason, they show up as the battlemage armor pieces! If i were to craft all 3 of them and equip them, they would look like this:

I know I'm not getting them mixed up. I'm in the medium armor category, it says it's the prowler armor pieces, but it doesn't look like them. I believe I'm having the same problem with the hunter and scout schematics that I have. They show up as the lower-tier mage armors.

Now here's another strange part to it... when I find prowler armor out in the wild, it shows up how it's supposed to; with the diamond shaped chestpiece like what is shown in the trailers. The switch only seems to happen with crafted armor. Upgrades however are hit or miss. The prowler coat upgrades are like the above picture, but I do have the prowler mail legs which i think are the way they should be, and the lower-tier upgrades such as hunter coat arms or hunter armor legs seem to be fine. I honestly don't know for sure which pieces are wrong and which aren't because I haven't been able to find a list of what everything looks like.

So, is anyone else having this problem? Is there a fix? Did I do something wrong? Any help or insight you may have would be appreciated.

It's not a bug.  You have the Prowler Coat schematics, not the Prowler Armor schematics.  There are three versions of "full" T3 for every class:

[Sturdy/Superior] X Armor [+ Arms/Legs]

[Sturdy/Superior] X Mail [+ Arms/Legs]

[Sturdy/Superior] X Coat [+ Arms/Legs]

The X can be Battlemaster (heavy), Prowler (medium), or Battlemage (light).

Regardless of X, the Armor versions look (almost) the same, the Mail versions look the same, and the Coat versions look the same.  For example, Battlemaster Mail looks like Battlemage Mail, and Prowler Coat Arms look like Battlemaster Coat Arms.

Ok, that makes so much sense. I was worried because no one was talking about this and I tried to find out if it was in game like you said but there was no information on it anywhere. I think you might have mail and armor mixed up though, my "X mail" schematics look like heavy armor. Still, thank you very much for that clarification.

There are always slight differences, though. For example, the warrior coat has scale armor on the arms, while the mage one doesn't.

The problem was that I was the one unlucky person who has not found a single "X Armor" schematic. That's why I thought something was wrong.

Ya, and I'm glad that they did this now that I know what was going on, but I like the rogue design and really want that one.

That's not mine, I just found the picture online, but yes. It does look better on mages.
