Enough criticism has been thrown to the poor DA:I.
Its time to make a thread just about the good things, Ill start:
1) I love when I shield-bash an enemy and he falls down a cliff, dying instantly!

This has already been done. I think it was in the NO Spoilers forum. Don't know if it's still going or not. If it is, prepare to be locked.
There is very little that I don't like about the game, and most of it is the damnable PC controls.
Allow me to be the one to diffuse your thread of goodness with a dose of reality. Gamers these days are jaded. They do not know what they want and are more willing to spew undeserved vitriol as opposed to reluctant yet deserving praise for anything. Everyone is a critic I suppose.
As for me - this game rightly deserved the praise and GOTY awards that it received.
Many complained about it being too long. Many complained about it being a single player MMO. Many complained about tactical view (in a sense that was warranted). On and on ad infinitum. All in all many complained just so they could complain. Seems that is all we as gamers do these days is complain. When a game deserves credit, as this one does, we can't accept what has been given and must find faults.
DA:I is a great game; you make and get what you want from it.
And yes Cassandra's cheekbones are legit. I roll female Inquisitors and I so wanted to romance her. Now I am forced to create a male toon in order to do so ![]()
edit- per Orian...that was a valid complaint, sir. I was forced to sell my soul and use a controller.
That NPC and companion banter evolves over the course of the game, reacts to events of the game and doesn't repeat in a single play though.
Sera
Iron Bull and Dorian as well.
Hell the voice acting is top notch.
Alix Wilton Regan's voice all day everyday.
I could be here all day, so I'll just pick a few:
1) The characters. I think this is my favourite bunch of BioWare characters ever, and that's saying a lot.
2) We can play dwarves again!
3) With the added emotional reaction options, I think this is easily the best-ever incarnation of the dialogue wheel across the whole DA and ME series.
4) We get our own castle!
5) Riding around on a war nug under the moon is glorious.
*facepalm*
Double post. How about:
6) Those dragons are pretty great. And their body parts make neat outfits.
1) Return of race options.
2) Best group of companions in the franchise thus far.
3) Customization (although I would have preferred more armors).
4) Hawke's participation .........
5) ........ ditto for Leliana, Cullen, Morrigan & Flemeth.
6) War table.
All of it..
...except for the parts I don't like.
Really though, I just have annoyances, I don't have any hates for the game.
The biggest positives for me though: Dorian and Solas, love both those characters.
I'll just pick a few few:

Oh so the loads of threads with page after page of details about what individuals want are just vitriol? Seriously?
Don't get me wrong, there is plenty of hatred, against the game, the devs, here, everywhere. But there is plenty of constructive criticism and feedback about what people want too. It might not be technical feedback and it might even be that most of what the people want might not even be technically viable. But there is no dearth of constructive feedback.

This and This
oooh some positivity! let's see......in no particular order:
1. dorian. i love dorian. i love absolutely everything about him and was head over heels for him from the moment he spoke. he was ALMOST my canon romance for DAI, but solas as fen'harel and the heartache his romance brings just barely trumped dorian's romance. but really....i can't stress enough how much i love dorian.
2. seeing varric and hawke talk outside the war room. it was so heartwarming for me to see them reunited again, but the way varric blamed himself for just about everything made me so sad D: i love varric (platonically) and it always hurts me to see a companion hurting. if i could have, i would've given him a hug then and there.
3. hearing both varric and hawke talk about the DA2 companions and what they're doing now. i loved them all (with the exception of sebastian....i'm rather lukewarm with him) and i missed them.
4. seeing how cullen had grown as a character. i'm not a "cullenite" by any means, but nonetheless, i'd grown fond of him throughout the series and i really appreciate his character development. every time i see him rallying the troops, issuing orders etc, i always feel so proud of him for being a lot more confident than he was before. i wasn't surprised he was going to be in DAI and i was expecting him to be romancable, due to the sheer number of fans he has, but i'm glad that he didn't become too fan-servicey in the way he as a character or his romance was written.
5. seeing dagna. i fully expected to see bodahn and sandal and although i was initially disappointed and i do still miss them, i was thrilled to see dagna. she's so cute and cheerful in a world that's ready to collapse on itself, that it's like a breath of fresh air. my warden helped her out in DAO, so i was so happy that things worked out for her and like cullen, i felt proud of her for having come so far. i still wish bodahn and sandal were in DAI, but i do not regret having dagna return.
6. leliana. she and morrigan were like sisters to me and i loved them both so much. however, as happy as i was to see leliana, i really, really miss her old self in DAO. listening back to her in DAO, it's clear just how much colder she's gotten over the years, even if you soften her during the course of DAI. my heart broke, knowing what her work as the left hand had turned her into. still, i couldn't have asked for a better spymaster.
7. cole. i love him, i always want to protect him and i just love listening to him talk. i love that all he wants to do is help, i love how he talks, i love that despite what he's been through, he's still so innocent in so many ways. in asunder,
8. i've always enjoyed the quality of the voice acting in both DA and ME.
9. *disgusted noise*
10. dorian's, solas', sera's and cassandra's laughs. everytime they laugh, i smile and i can't help it. despite sera's flaws, her laugh is just so infectious, there's something about cassandra's laugh that i just love (i can't put my finger on it), it's the same with solas' laugh and urgh...dorian...what ISN'T there to love about that wonderful, wonderful man? (can you tell i'm obssessed with him yet?)
11. party banters - they're always gold. i love hearing them and i love the way they show how your companions get along outside of your home base. they always provide so much more insight into their personalities, too.
this is all i can think of for now. i'm too tired to think of more right now xD
I love collecting shards. Gotta collect'em all!
I hope they release a DLC that adds like a hundred shards to various random locations.

I would never equate vitriolic complaints to constructive criticisms, sir. Also; I read reviews, complaints, criticisms, et all that are found easily on other forums. Perhaps you took my words the wrong way as I agree with many of the constructive posts. Especially when it comes to the PC version of DA:I. I'll have you know I had to sell my soul and play with a controller! So do trust me....I get it.
edit - oh ya....best thing about this game over the previous two is the ability to JUMP!
I like holding off Darkspawn for two days.
