To be honest I've always thought the games played like ****, the engines seem poor, the camera angles are atrocious, the controls urgh (run, cover, interact, use, res all on one button, are we playing on a ****** 1980's game console?) the combat never felt satisfying the accuracy is ****, the damage poor I feel like I'm playing an old Tomb Raider were things will only die if you shot them for around 5 minutes. The dialogue and choices were touted as the big thing but for the majority its only good or bad and sometimes you get a meh option if you're lucky then once or twice a game (ie every 20 hours) you got to say, kill that character. The side missions were repetitive and dull, the mako driving was awful all round and replacing this with mining and scanning from orbit sped up the process but didn't improve it at all.

In short I never felt like I was playing a triple-A title like Gears of War or say Deadspace but watching a puppet show without the songs. Needless to say I could over look all that just to get at the story line, I wasn't even that upset with the ending of ME3 although I have to admit I loved the indoctrination theory put forth by the community more than the official.

What I can't forgive is the multiplayer, ok its a repetitive grind fest but what isn't these-days. My gripe is after 200 hours put into it playing and completing silver waves I hardly have anything unlocked let alone maxed. I understand you can use real money to skip to the end if you're a casual player but this is ****** ridiculous. So here I am completely 3 rounds, about an hour of time to earn the 100K to buy a single crate from a lacklustre choice and I can't even hope things will get better because the weapons and equipment that suit my play style potentially won't be upgraded for another 1000 hours of play, there's nothing to work towards except the darkside as all the game breeds in me is anger and hate.

Thank god I haven't paid though as in my experience the weapons, even the ones upgraded are just ****** useless all the best players I've seen just have certain classes unlocked and just smash the same power over and over again, you never even see them pull the trigger on whatever weapon they've chosen for cosmetic reasons. If you don't have the best classes then the tech/biotic explosion combo seems to be the most effective way to kill anything in this game only once again, most characters don't have the right power combo to make this happen so you have to go into random games hoping for someone else to provide the missing link. Over to youtube to see what I'm doing wrong only most videos I've watched online show the game clearly being exploited with every enemy being killed by a missile consumable whilst the guy making the video points himself away from the action, seems I'm not the only one feeling let down by the original experience intended to frustrate you into getting your wallet out.

Just lately I've even tried one on one encounters, me vs a simple collector or geth soldier and I'm using the exact same weapon as him but he's out DPS'ing me, I mean are they all using MK10 everything with aimbots set to headshot? It could be something with my internet connection as I can empty clips of shotgun ammo into enemies only to see there health unaffected then halfway through reloading they fold in half and fly across the screen awarding me the kill. But as all other games run fine this just goes back to the shitty game engine from paragraph one. There's more that pisses me off but right now I'm just looking forward to uninstalling and walking away.

The only reason I played this long was a weird obsession to try the Typhoon but seriously after 200 hours I'd expect to at least feel like I achieved something where as all I feel is cheated and I won't be paying for another one of your games in the future.

Try playing Bronze. It seems more your speed. You're also having serious problems with latency; that's an internet communications issue that no one has control over. Try playing at a different time of day.

Also, hint: Those basic and veteran packs you're skipping over? By skipping over them, you're taking much, much MUCH longer to get to the 'good stuff.'

Unlocking is progressive: when you max out a basic, common weapon, it will no longer show up in the unlock lists. That improves your chances of getting an uncommon or a rare weapon.

Same with other permanent equipment like mods or gear.

Stop watching 'missile glitch' videos and start watching 'how to play (class kit)' videos.

Paying for packs is a bad idea. The ratio of money to credits is very poor, and on top of that, you can't buy most MP packs with Bioware points anymore. Some intern saw all the 'duplicate' entries in the Bioware Points store and wiped all of them out except the one for the Spectre pack.

Finally, this isn't a game like Gears of Duty or Call of War or Dead Battlefront. It was never meant to be, and thank god for that. This is a cover-based shooter. Learn to use cover.

I quit reading when you said that ME doesn't feel like a triple A title like Dead Space. What?????????
