This isn't a very compelling argument. No one here can reasonably predict that EA/BioWare will lose out on massive sales numbers because of the inclusion of homosexual characters in their titles. So far, it has yet to have any negative impact.
If anything, one would logically assume that fair inclusion of homosexual characters in their games would lead to an increase in sales, because it would be taken as a sign of progression.

For some reason seeing gay content breaks my immersion. I just want to focus on the game and what is normal for me in my life. In my life, I have zero interactions with anything gay, I rarely watch TV and don't know any gay people at work. When I come home I watch non-gay tv shows and non-gay movies.

A video game, yes. With a story about characters with their own personality and interests. Characters who, to maintain any artistic integrity at all, must be able to fictionally exist and behave independently of audience preference.
As others have mentioned, it's just not feasible to spend that much work on something that most likely only a small minority of players would actually use, and would more than likely lose BioWare sales.
