I admit that yes, but if that never comes to fruition I will tolerate it. It does break my immersion though. I'd rather just focus on what is normal for my sexual preferences and the game story, that's it. I'd rather not see anything gay.
However, I'm not a monster. If it means that much to you for straight people to accept your sexuality in the Dragon Age series, then so be it, but why is that so important to you?

Bioware should add the option, sexual orientation choice, which would be ahead of the curve. Has anyone done this yet? No? Bioware would get a lot of news coverage and others would follow soon afterwards.

*sigh* this thread has escalated since the last time I was here (1st-2nd page). You can't just restrict it to have the characters all be one type of romance. It changes their personalities, and changes the perspectives. I see you say people play this game to escape reality also. True but guess what, some games are made to be realistic! I know! it's just so hard to believe right? But no, instead you think ALL characters should just have one preferred sexual preference. I wouldn't enjoy a game that has a romance where all the characters have one preferred sexual preference type. It makes no sense, just to romance someone I couldn't on a different character? All you need to do is make a different character and change gender to romance them! seriously! It's not your game either, The writer had the vision of that character, it's wrong for there to be an "option" to change it just cause you didn't get something to go your way. I understand you want to have the "option" to pick your choices and whatever else you want, but actually think! changing these things changes many things about a person and how they think and act.

You need glasses if you think Sera's face is masculine. Likewise for her hair. Her hair is the way it is because she cut it herself. With a knife.
you could always look up ahead of time to see what characters are gay and then avoid them that way. if it's such a huge deal.
