Option for sexual orientation in DA4 would be a great idea.
Chose to be gay, bi or straight.
Everyone can play DA4 the way they want. It's their choice of play through and no one else's business.
I'm so confused with what you want, The player already has that option by pursuing the NPC they are interested in.

Call the "oppressed straight boys' brigade." They'll want to check this out. And share their outrage at how unfairly I'm treating them. Even though, really, I just want them to be happy. That's why I'm sharing images that will warm their hearts. Because this thread is about all sexual preferences, and not about removing gay characters.
All I'm saying is there should be an option for sexual orientation when playing say DA4.
Each individual gamer would experience say DA4 based more on that choice.
If someone wants to have a gay play through, good for them.
If someone wants to have a straight play through, good for them.
If someone wants to have a random mix play through, good for them.
Its our individual choice for how we want to experience our own play through.
No person can tell another, what that can chose or decide as their own play through. Yet that is exactly what is happening here......,one way or the highway.
There is choice.......OR one way.
I think choice is better for all instead of forced one way.
This is democracy after all.

Most of the time I try to avoid real life discussions but this one I think is safe. About 98%+ of real life human population is straight. It is no wonder that people project it into the games even though reality may unfavourably differ in Thedas.

To be perfectly honest with you both, I do not 'troll'. If I were to write in other manner then I would see dozens upon dozens of 'ism' 'phobia'.
