You raise a fair point. However I'd be a lot more civil if this sauce had some salt in it.

Worst idea ever.
The thing here is, people are just going to have to deal with homosexuality. I'd go way farther if I were Bioware, I would shove the gay down your throat with hypersexual gay men aggesively trying to get it on with the male PC.
But that probably wouldn't do well for sales
You just can't push the gay agenda like that ![]()
I HIGHLY doubt it. But since I can't prove it it's just IMO. Neither can you.
Did I mention I highly doubt it?
This thread is still going? Are the mods too hammered or something?

Your own efforts at that seem to be highly unsuccessful, since you still haven't been able to wrap your head around the fact that there are many more straight males that find both Cassandra and Josephine attractive, than the opposite...
Google:

As you can see concern for ugly females in Inquisition is one of the most popular google queries. Ugly is the first recommended word to describe females in Inquisition. Bioware needs to take a long hard look at this data. That is what my fellow straight male gamers search for on google.
You do realize that google uses an algorithm that fills in suggestions in your search bar based on your internet history...so that says more about you than anything else...mine is different from yours...
I cleared history, changed my ip and tried three different browsers and those are the results that come up for me.
Oh, somehow I doubt that. From reading your posts here and elsewhere, it has become abundantly clear that your own "twitching urges" are considerably more animalistic than those you describe here. Your unnatural focus on virginity, for instance, is indicative of a rather obscene desire to engage in a form of predation rather than any kind of actual romance.
It's fairly obvious that from that, your expectations that any woman you are with should be downright worshipful and your general attitude towards others that there are two significant truths about you. First, you are trending heavily towards psychotic, which is not a word I throw around lightly.
Second, you sir, are completely un f***able.
Those are terrible things to write to someone. Your avatar indicates you don't like hate, but your words seem hateful.
That is what for toggable option would be. You would play the game you want and we would play it the way we want.
To me, that sounds like asking an author to write an different version of their characters and their story and to have it available alongside the one they intended to write. Like saying,
"Oh, Mr. Stephen King. I know you really planned on the father going ax crazy at this point in the story, but could you instead have him reach a moment of renewed self-awareness, and spend the rest of the book embracing his sobriety and rebuilding his relationship with his wife and son? Some people are really made uncomfortable by the idea of all the murdering."
(I am not equating homosexuality with murder. This is strictly an example about literary and storytelling integrity)
Whatever any of us feel about it, it will just never happen. I don't believe that any writer would be okay with being asked to do this.
All this topic needs now are whining furries... followed by inevitable yiff-pr0n.
I HIGHLY doubt it. But since I can't prove it it's just IMO. Neither can you.

The best we have to go by is testimonies...they support my theory over yours...
These are the options.
All heterosexual option.
All homosexual option
and a Random Chaos option.
What exactly is this random chaos?
Of the three options it's the only appealing one. It's appealing to me because I have no clue what it is.
You know what? Ditch the other two options! Let's have some random chaos!
Does it even matter? Again, just as with the homosexuality, you're just going to have to, in Cassandra's words:
Deal
With
It.
No one that you like? Well, that's too bad.
I have nothing against homosexuality. Don't know why did you even mention it.
And yes, too bad. I know.

Edit
...not to mention that if you simply put in "females are" the first two suggestions that come up are "stupid" and "disgusting"...somehow I don't believe that reflects the general opinion in the world...

You realize Google does that based on what YOU search right? Top tier trolling there ![]()
And putting it in Big bold letters doesn't make it fact
Meh.
How about we all just agree that categorical sexuality doesn't exist and that there are simply strings of coincidental similarities in the individuals that other individuals are attracted to. Wouldn't that make it simple? Hmmmmm?
... No? Okay so I tried.

"Data", you say.
Also, don't presume to speak on my behalf.
i'm positive that there are no amorous intentions behind my preferences. Interesting leap though, from virginity to predation. Sounds just like something out of modern feminists' pamphlet.
The bolded part is true, for everyone of a healthy minde who engage in romantic unions. Personally, I do not care about feelings of my companion. I would rather prefer them to be of arranged marriage flock.
That is what for toggable option would be. You would play the game you want and we would play it the way we want.
I have never claimed that my english grammar is good, I find it immensely lacking. I don't see anything wrong with this sentence of mine though. Yes, it is simple. Still, quite a rude nitpicking.
*Shrug* Feminism is relevant to my statement incidentally, and even if your statement were true, it hardy detracts from my point in the way you seem to think it does.
You profess to want someone "pure", but from that and your admission that you want someone from an "arranged marriage flock" it's fairly obvious that what you actually want is someone you can exert power over. You're not interested in a relationship, only in having someone you can use, who has no choice in the matter.
At a guess, I'd say that constant derision has led you to form a twisted arrogance as a defense mechanism, which allows a veneer of confidence but does nothing to fix your deeply set insecurities and self-loathing, which manifest themselves as a need to dominate others. Thankfully, all indications point to the fact that the women around you agree with my "unf***able" diagnosis above.
You are kidding, right?
Meh.

As a gay guy, my first playthrough I romanced Iron Bull. There were certain aspects of his personality that were attractive but ultimately I decided that he and I wouldn't be a good match. With some reservations I went with Dorian on my second playthrough. Much to my expectations, while I love Dorian as a character, He's more the kinda guy I'd hang out with/have a more brotherly relationship with than a romantic one. Solas just isn't appealing to me as a romantic interest so I probably won't engage him in that way. So my third play through I'm just gonna go stag and not settle for someone who doesn't fit the bill for my tastes
and there's nothing wrong with that.
Of course once Cullen is modded back to his original romance (he and Solas were both originally intended to be bi), you can be sure I'll give him a chance to see if he can sweep me off my feet
If he fails to do so, c'est la vie. Unfortunately Bioware has only so much time and money to make characters and they can't make one for each of our tastes. What Bioware can do in cases like Dragon Age, is keep mod-ability an option so that if there is a character we like behind an orientation wall we can still pursue them as the character of our choosing (even if the dialogue is a bit off for it).

Technically, if they want "someone pure"... I expect what they mean is that they want someone made exclusively of a single element... or something, since "someone" implies a molecular structure with multiple distinct elements... which is horribly impure.
*nods sagely*
OP wants to romance a block of graphite.
Or maybe diamond. Never checked if OP was racist against graphite.

So I guess you can treat this quoting as me liking your post.

The thing about dating real people is that you can mess up.
Badly. But you know what? That makes it a lot more interesting.
I wish dating in video games had the same level of difficulty along with the authenticity of a real life romance.
Then success would truly feel like an achievement.
Rather than give a bunch of gifts to Leliana, you give a few gifts and spend a lot more time talking to her.
You talk about her likes and dislikes. You ask her opinion on stuff. You ask her out on dates.
You talk about interests and hobbies and heck even share common interests.
Heck if she's into you, she'll ask you questions (like a normal human being). She might ask about your interests, likes, dislikes and hobbies.
She might even ask favours of you as a sign of trust.
Then after all that, she may or may not decide that you're worth perusing.
If you win her over, it's a huge success. Or you can cry your eyes out when she dumps you.
Just like real life. No one has wronged anyone. Things just didn't work out.
You forgot that he wants to use torture to make "his bride" obedient too
And use blood magic to make Leliana and Sera Straight
