Yes, please, I would like it. If there are toggle gore options in some games, then for such content like this it should be even more present.

 

So in this version of Dragon Age Inquistion, Dorian was forced to undergo conversion therapy, Sera's less interested in being elbow deep in "circumstance" and more about getting stuck with some "happenstance", Iron Bull becomes a monosyllabic giant like Sten who's entire romance consists of a simple "No!" and the only women that Josie wants to undress is her dolls?

(to Vanth) I'll admit I skipped a few pages but if I gathered enough about the theoretic experiment mentioned then it relied upon the reciever not knowing the gender of the person performing. Their problem with the experiement is less the blindfold and more the bit in which it is not apparent whether or not the recipient has consented especially as it seems quite unnecessary for the person to be tied.

 

I'm not one for sexual encounters but I hear blindfolds are great for sense-play

 

As before, I do not consider it an indication of a person's sexuality but just that bodies react to stimuli. Attraction is based upon specific sights or thoughts.

S/he had his thought, you show more logical/more accurate... arguments, your mind is dominate thus you applied your psychical domination in the discussion. And it's not a bad thing... What I think you're talking about is physical domination which is considered a bad thing in most cultured societies.

 

No, discussing something without using coercion of some kind is persuading not dominating.  I am not "forcing" anyone to do anything.

 

As for the latter part of your post, I'm talking about any kind of domination/abuse, not just physical.  While physical domination is often the most easily recognizable form of abuse it is not the only one.  Emotional abuse is also very common, and far harder to pick up on, but no less damaging.  It often doesn't share the social stigma that physical abuse does because it is more subtle, and outsiders may have trouble looking at it as a serious issue when the victim doesn't seem to be in physical danger.

 

An example would be a wife who screens all her husband's mail, sits in on all his phone calls and doesn't let him talk to anyone without her permission.  In doing so, she effectively controls the husband, vetting all input and output.

Yes, nothing wrong about it. It is not as if them burying their heads in the improper makes stories more interesting. They would have their personalities, more or less just without unnecessary agenda screams.

Because some, maybe great many of us would like to play our games without forced agendas. Professional victims will always find something to be offended with.
 
It is not their craft, it belongs to BioWare. They craft what is required from them. Then maybe instead of toggable non straight, w should ask for different options within the same story. An option to completely eliminate non straight characters if we choose one of these options, and replace with straight ones.

Isn't the point sending a clear message to Bioware, not to implement a "gay toggle" feature?

Especially since one of the members of the development team proposed the idea.
