You know as depressing as it is that there are people with these views, at least likeable tolerant and accepting people like you Sifr are in the majority. At least there is hope for humankind.

You're acting as if homosexuality or bisexuality are just opinions that people are somehow trying to force upon others. Some people are straight, some are gay, some might be bi, some might be pansexual, asexual... It is up to you to accept that not everybody will conform to what you are comfortable with if you for some reason dislike gays. The mere existence of non-straight characters isn't some evil "agenda", that's just art imitating life. You probably have some gay people among your friends and family in real life as well, whether you know it or not. Or do you not believe in friendship because it is a weakness and hinders your quest for dominance?

You limit yourself  by judging others according to your own limitations, that's all there is to it. You can not fandom it, thus it does not exists.

For some foolish reason I thought I would catch up on this thread and in the middle of doing so I quite literally became ill, so I either got a bug with quite the sense of humor or my body is trying to tell me to get away from this thread with how its going. I don't think you have any reason to be guilty.  In fact, I think you added proof that not all straight men think the same way, or feel the same thing.  You are a part of a very big demographic in Western culture, so there's bound to be some nutjobs and bad apples.   You're not responsible for what the self-proclaimed Straight Male Gamer does, only for yourself.  For the record, your practice of continuing to post in constructive and supportive manners while mentioning you're a straight guy helps buck that stereotype.

Oh he's calmed down some.  You missed the threads where he thinks that changing sexuality via blood magic was a useful idea introduced into the lore, and one the player should able to do to all LGBT characters.

Okay so clearly there are individuals who are misguided when it comes to their views on LGBT's.

 

Since I myself am ignorant, I was wondering if there are any websites where I can enlighten myself on LGBT issues and struggles.

It seems a shame to have zero understanding of a giant chunk of the world population.

Intolerance/Hate: Attacks specifically regarding race, politics, religion, or sexual orientation are grounds for immediate suspension or banning.

 

There's at least three people in this thread violating that rule.
