Sorry for the side was picture , the website I used to upload this did that for some reason. Anyway since I messed up my perfect Dwarf look (good bye sweet prince T-T) thought I would go and try to make a good looking Qunari. This is what I came up with , would you consider it generic? He's a shield and sword (my favorite class) and has the default voice.

I like this guy.

The only problem I have with him is his ear's trying to fix that , just Qunari ears are so....weird

I like his eyes.

Does he look Generic? that's what I'm mainly worried about. He had his horns ripped in half , his eyes are tired but he knows he has to keep going , this qunari has seem somethings in his life and their not pretty.

Nothing about a broken horned qunari screams generic.

Not generic at all, in my opinion. He fits your backstory quite well actually.

He doesn't look generic. As a generic qunari, to me, has: full horns, clean shaven, shoulder-length hair, and white iris while a hornless one would have bronze skin, cornrow ponytail, and violet iris.

Would it be too generic to make him a two-handed warrior? I love the S&S in Dragon Age series , it's just this is my 5th attempt on a playthrough and it's all been with S&S

Should I spice things up with making him a 2-Hander or keep him as a S&S

Is it scary to find a Qunari who would much rather have defense then full blown attack?

No, a generic Qunari would probably not have a beard, he'd have white hair, dark eyes and grey skin.

To me it looks like you tried to make a dwarf using a Qunari as a base model.

But that's just my opinion lol

I would probably agree with this^.

And just want to add: obviously, I don't know your reasons for asking, but the only thing that should matter is if you like your qunInquisition, IMO.

As for me, I find him handsome and far from 'generic'. ;)

Not at all.

On a different note, most male Qunari I've ever seen lack any creativity.

It's hard to tell the player did anything beyond choosing one of the initial presets.

Meh, I don't see any reason to obsess over avoiding the stereotype.

"I can't play an elven archer because that's exactly what elves do!"

You want to twist things a bit, sure go ahead. But there's no harm in keeping some things that are expected or common for a certain race.

I would probably agree with this^.

I wish there was a way to bring back old characters , I came back to this thread thinking I could recreate him but....sad to say he's a one time deal D:

If nothing else, I think it shows your instincts are good - you didn't want generic, and you created a totally unique character.  Stick with it - who knows, you may make a dwarf you like even better than your lost prince.  :)
