Ha, Themikefest, you know you probably had your "readiness" at full. Because no matter how low your EMS is, if your "readiness" is high you will get a good ending... Trying to act like you are the boss.

The whole quarian/geth thing is simply a modification of one of tropes used for such things. You can always find a story like that in books, TV or movies. You can even make a direct biblical comparison. Quarians sinned by creating geth and were cast out of paradise(their planet rannoch) as punishment.
As for Tali the character. I liked her since the first game. I am just a bit disappointed by how she was presented in ME3. They missed great opportunity to reveal her face in engine when she was on Rannoch looking at the sunset.
Also that picture made for shepard is a travesty.
