Keith David? He's been in quite a few things. You've might have seen him before in tv shows playing small roles and never realized it. Or heard his voice before, for that matter.

Yeah man, that's not really impressive.

Keith David does a lot of voice-overs and VA.

I see a Navy commercial that he's narrating at least once every 30 minutes. Of course, that might be because all I have to watch on TV is AFN.

Still, you will hear his voice in a lot of things.

I only remember him from Something about Mary and some random Call of Duty game.  Huh.  Never really noticed how many things he was in.

He's the Arbiter man. You don't recognize the Arbiter?

How can we forget "The Cape"?

Keith David's IMDB entry is ridiculously long. And why not? Man's got a great voice.

I think it's been said somewhere that some of the more tertiary actors and VA's have something close to 8 or 9 times much of stuff on their resume compared to some of the more established names in the industry. You're seeing VA's with more work than the careers of several long-term A-list actors put together (not the A-listers who are big for 5 years max, I'm talking the ones who have been consistently A-list for 15-20 years or more.)

I've been hearing Kaidan's VA a lot lately.

Apparently he does voice work on a lot of nature documentaries.

That series had a lot of great voice talent in addition to Mr. David:

Salli Richardson-Whitfield (Eureka)

Ed Asner (Mary Tyler-Moore Show and Lou Grant)

Jonathan Frakes (Star Trek: TNG)

Marina Sirtis (Star Trek: TNG)

John Rhys-Davies (LoTR)

All of the above lent their voice talents to 13 or more episodes.  There were some big names that did fewer shows, too:

Tim Curry

Michael Dorn

Richard Grieco

Robert Culp

Kate Mulgrew

James Belushi

Most important role of his career was in Men At Work.

I forgot he was in that!

My vote would go for, "How the hell did you get the beans above the frank?!"

I never realized he voiced Spawn. I'm a bit ashamed I didn't notice - I just got done watching it fairly recently.
