I dunno. I did it in two PUG matches using an Ele. Freeze stuff, let others shatter. Or throw SF.
Worked out pretty well and it helped others get their combos done.
Yeah I'm with Veramis. Time to roll out the Templar for several games.

You are not alone. Just promoted her this week and she's at Level 1.
No matter. I will roll my Elementalist instead. Winter's Grasp and Energy Barrage in Threatening PUGs should be easy-peasy. Maybe I'll get him to 20 this weekend and give him a good ol' promotion as well.

Luckily I kept mine at level 17 just in case, prefer her to the Lego as my go to warrior anyway.
I'll more than likely do that challenge with my necro though, she's a ray of sunshine.
I think mines sitting at 16. Do I want to solo threatening or be a baby and do it on routine. I'll probably be a baby.

you can actually do it with others as well.
Keeper and AW can do self nightmare combos and Elementalist can shatter and discharge

one of the early patches. Can't remember exactly which one.
There are two classes that can solo this.
You get credit for the challenge by either initiating or detonating, but the combo has to go off.
Templar is a good choice

I'm must be stupid. I haven't gotten a single combo yet.
Solo a couple of routine rooms as the Templar with WoH/Purge, should get you there no problem.
you can actually do it with others as well.
Can't Katari Pommel Strike and Mighty Blow, or are the timings too tight?
I did it easy-mode: Templar solo, 96 "team" combos 
One routine solo with the templar. 42 team combos. One more chest of disappointment.
