WTF?!? Is there any other way to play a Krogan that doesn't put you to sleep?

 

Melee build Kroguard is one of the most satisfying experiences in the game. Turning an otherwise dull kit into something fun

Regardless of the op's intent I am unironicaly liking that statement.

 

Glad to see I'm not the only one.  If you're a Krogan, guns are only necessary to use against things that can sync you, or things that someone else might kill before your head/backhand/hammer can hit them.

Melee krogan sentinel is one of the more satisfying kits in the game. 

 

 

 

 

 

For extra lulz, equip the batarian gauntlet and your slap attack will decapitate.

My avatar is merely an amalgamation of the assassin icon from Dragon Age and the Blood Pack logo in order to tip my hat to Bioware, and if anything although it wasn't my intention, I figured the giant red X on the skull's forehead actually implied a vendetta against the Blood Pack. Good to know I wasn't being perceived as an anti-vermin hatemonger until now though (even though I've always been one).

Speccing for Krogan melee is an integral part of this game, and should not be missed!  Each one of the Krogans has a different aspect to its melee strategy, and they are all fun to play. (Some take longer than others to learn, especially on gold/plat.)

I actually run a 6/5/5/4/6 build on the melee Sentinel. I think the extra 50 carry weight makes incinerate wonderful since it isn't as weighed down by the Omni-bladed Claymoar. The 5th rank on incinerate for the DoT is a must imo, but the last rank on it isn't that big of a deal and the last rank on lift grenades isn't make-or-break in my experience. Either way, whether skipping passives is considered the norm for platinum, I think my style works pretty well.
