I really like the Reaver, but she's ok in Routine games, but she (or better I) gets killed easily on Threatening.
Any suggestions for a good build? At the moment I use this one (I'm still at level 12 though):

For me I can do well on up to threatening and have big troubles if I try perilous. (Fun class to play but the weakest in the whole game overall imo)
ZorbletSplendor plays the best reaver I've ever seen. He has saved my nooblet ass in perilous more times than I am willing to admit to the general public and clutched the match ![]()
I can't post links on this broken piece of **** browser but I will bump his guide. I've tried reaver-ing but I'm having issues with the "don't die" portion of the guide ![]()
Actually she is quite playable on Threatening and Perilous (despite having best weapons etc, playstyle makes a big difference).
There's a thread discussing the Reaver: http://forum.bioware...ake-me-rampage/

Here's what I use. One of many possible builds.
Abilities: Dragon Rage (DR), Rampage ®, Mighty Blow (MB), Combat Roll (CR)
Accessories: Superb Amulet of Cunning, Enhanced Health Belt (+100), Enhanced Mighty Blow Ring, Superb Life Drain Ring
Tactics: Wait for team to aggro. Flank Attack (DR all the things). Be aware of ranged attackers shooting at teammates, and avoid their line of fire. Use MB along with R for a quick health restoration (and often multi-kills). CR is great to avoid melee and ranged alike (timing), as well as a good way to close space.

The main problem I see with many who dislike Reaver is because they play like a tank, drawing aggro, attacking from front (min DPS/sometimes blockable), and often getting themselves downed quickly. Use my tactics (playstyle) listed above. If you do this you should be kicking major butt out there.
She's a carbon fiber race car. Capable of much, but not able to withstand hits very well.

with all that gear of course she is playable on Threatening and Perilous. She is easily the most gear dependent MP class, not even close

problem is, with or without great gear, the playstyle is actually what gets most players killed easily and often (I see it often in PUGs). could the same not be said for many DAIMP characters?

sure I've seen many run off on their own and get killed.. I had to learn the hard way..
the problem with the class is if you're the only melee its tough.. she needs something to help mitigate ranged damage outside of hugging a wall

lol me too.
No arguments with that. I have tried soloing with her, and yeah... so long as another player draws aggro, it makes Reaver's job so much easier.
before the rampage nerf she was pretty squishy, so BW decided to nerf her and make her even squisher so shes pretty much unplayable on perilous

Like many, I really they had left her alone. That said, still gonna give her a few tries on Perilous again and see how it goes.
