And it's not BS.
Are you specifically referring to his expressing non-interest in a male mage in DAO, or is there more to it than that?

I'm honestly okay with Cullen not being available to men. Not the biggest loss we had. Plus, the poor idiot can't even look at a cute girl without blushing.
There are many...

Enlighten me then.
What is it *about his character* (personality) that does not fit.
Are you specifically referring to his expressing non-interest in a male mage in DAO, or is there more to it than that?
That is one of them yes.
Just because they don't act on it in the next game doesn't mean they aren't listening
Doesn't mean they are either.
I don't think this is correct or fair.
Not fair? Perhaps.
Not correct? No, it is.
Why do you think they don't listen?
A hypothesis backed by observing some of their responses. For example no matter how civil and polite both the subject matter and how it is expressed is, Bioware has either ignored them or just flat out say no rather than even humor the poster and listen to them. Meanwhile the people they do listen to tend to be people whose ideas correspond to things Bioware already wants to do. So like I said, they only listen to what they want to hear. Everything else falls on deaf ears.
That is one of them yes.
And that is not a valid reason.
Try again.

Could I trouble to you elaborate on some of the other reasons?

Please, darling, enlighten us on the other reasons, then. Don't be coy.
I would but it's hard to do so without coming off as homophobic . I could direct you to a few blogs tho.
^Lmao.
Are you Pinkdiamonds BTW?
these games have some of the biggest perverts and people who think about nothing but sex as I have ever seen in my life.

Well technically it would come off as biphobic, not homophobic.

it's just because you get to see people expressing their opinion/mind openly, that's all.

This is a romance thread. What the hell else are we supposed to discuss in here.

Who?
I don't think there are any logical reasons to Cullen's sexuality. My impression, based on David Gaider's comments, is that it didn't "feel right" for the character. You can't always reduce feelings logically, particularly creative ones. And sometimes, it is counter productive. Cullen is straight simply because he is, it doesn't really serve a purpose to try to explain *why*. There is no why. He was just..."born" that way.
stickers on forehead would make things so easy.....
Is it safe to come out from under me table yet? ![]()

Yeah but people would want to personalize them! You'd end up with people having one giant garish sticker on their head writing bitter 5000 word essays about for unfair it is that genetics didnt give them a forehead half an inch bigger and how stickers on ears are not an acceptable substitute....

none of them say "Hello, I'm Cullen and I'm straight" in big readable letters.

Mr Gaider also mentioned in a tweet about having to justify characters being straight.

Well as long as there was an option to personalize and maybe i dunno...a codex? to write in, I think it would work just fine.
