The search for Spock is my second favorite Star Trek movie right behind Wrath. I do not know why a lot of people hate it, IMO its way better than Voyage home.

Nimoy was a phenomenal talent both as an actor and a director and it's saddening now that he's gone.

And not that many days ago I mused that he is 83 years old and still looks rather healthy for his age, hoping that he is still around for awhile.
This is sad news indeed. RIP, Nimoy. Missed, but never forgotten.

I just heard about this on NPR driving home from campus. I was completely shocked.
I will forever here all those Civ IV technology quotes in his voice: "Banking establishments are more dangerous than standing armies."
As cumbersome as Spock was for him at times, he did an amazing job creating an iconic character that has dramatically impacted that landscape of science fiction, and will continue to do so. I know he will be greatly missed by family, friends, and fans alike.

His impersonation of Sputnik should have won a bloody Grammy! It has always been music to my ears when I researched that technology.
