For us SciFi fans, this is a huge loss. Dude mind melded with a blob one episode, now that's tough!

 

In his honor, if Spock was a character in the ME3MP universe, what would his build / playstyle look like?

 

I imagine he would have:

 

'Biotic Vulcan Grab' - to assume control of an enemy unit

 

'Logic Bomb' - creating confusion and self awareness in Reapers / Collectors

 

'Machine Affinity' - Area control of Geth units

 

OFC his fitness tree would be off the charts good, there would be no selectable evolutions, you would get melee and health boosts with every increase.

 

 

In all seriousness, 'tis a sad day and my condolences go out to his family and legion of fans (of which I am surely one)

Lots of good memories, as a man, an actor, and a make-believe alien.  It looks to me as though he lived long and prospered.  He will be missed......

Star Trek is terrible.  Acting.  Plot.  Everything.

 

 

 

I will say Nichelle Nichols was/is a decent actress.  Especially with all the pressure on her shoulders at that time.  My hat is off to her.  The one bright spot.  Everyone else was/is terrible at acting on Star Trek.

 

 

 

The new movies are decent, though I still wouldn't pay to see them in the theater.

 

 

 

 

 

With all of that said, if it wasn't for Star Trek... I doubt Star Wars or Mass Effect would have ever existed.  I guess that's worth something.

Don't anybody be dissing StarTrek! Overacting and cheap special effects--yes. But it was the dynamics of the friendship of Kirk, Spock, and Bones that made it so entertaining. Kinda like the crew of the Normandy? Nimoy was great as Spock. Going to have to break out my Trouble with Tribbles disc.

  Jolan Tru Mr. Spock.  Now it is time to shoot his casket out the torpedo bay onto some distant planet one final time. 

 

  Don't be sad people, everybody's life is finite.  He lived 83 years, that is a full life.  It is only sad when people die young.  Let us celebrate the fond memories he's given us instead. 

 

  My favorite memory is of him is on a episode of ST:TNG where he and Data were having a discussion about the desire to be more human aboard a Klingon Bird of Prey.  Live long and prosper.  V

 

P.S.  83 years?  that's 117 years short of a Vulcan life expectancy.... He lied to me!  Vulcans aren't real?

Without Spock, the following list would never be complete: the Teaser, the Pleaser, the Rocker, the Spocker, the Shocker, and the Showstopper.

Because of this, I found out my wife was a trekkie.  Because of this, we got married and now have two beautiful little girls.  Without this, I'd still be free and single, enjoying my non-castrated life...
