Loss of life is always tragic. It doesn't matter how it happens, only that it does. Comparison is meaningless. The result is the same. I admired him and I enjoyed his work. Today, the world became a little less... fascinating.

So true. And not just a sad day for Sci-Fi fans only, Nimoy (and Star Trek) was one of those rare cases that completely transcended genre. Will most certainly be missed. Live long and prosper!
