You can't seem to reach it by going around left and climbing the hill. There is debris and a building in the way. Around right, it's too steep and you reach the end of the map.

I have not been able to figure out how to get it either-even used freecam.
My guess: its a placement bug.
Too bad. Looting that sack is essential to unlocking the secret ending to DAI. I guess you'll never get to see Commander Shepard squish Corefellus while landing the Normandy.

The Super Mario 64 Coin That Took 18 Years To Collect
It's there to torment us. For a while, I thought it was like the chest in Suledin Keep, where you had to climb up on something else and jump to it, but no, there's nothing in jump range. They're trolling us.
Never noticed that. Anybody else been unable to get to a ladder and stuff after the dragon in the Hinterlands?
That bag has tormented me in every playthrough, I can command the powers of fire and ice and punch a hole into the Fade... but I can't climb up a wall and grab some loot that's less than six feet from me?!
Never noticed that. Anybody else been unable to get to a ladder and stuff after the dragon in the Hinterlands?
Yeah, I've often wondered if there's anyway to get to that weird ladder in the rockface in Lady Shayna's valley, near the mining equipment? I know there's probably nothing up there and it's not meant to be there, but whenever I see the ladder highlighted, I'm compelled to want to climb it!
The next DA game definitely needs to include free-climbing and swimming...
I hate that bag with a passion.
You know the bridge right at the beginning in Haven? The one that collapses underneath you and Cassandra right before your very first fight of the game?
That bridge has loot on it. Right in front of you before it collapses.
The very first loot of the game.
And you can't get it.
i think you can. There is a path back to that side of the bridge. If I rem correctly it's right before you would take the path up to meet with Leliana. You know the bridge right at the beginning in Haven? Correct, after the "Up on the hill" fight, you can go get the loot of the bridge, a couple of elfroot and another gold loot too on that path.

Yeah, found out you can grab that loot on my second playthrough.
There's actually ton of loot and materials scattered around the path to the Temple that's out of the way, lke the gold and ore that's up the mountain, if instead of following the path right after the "So are you innocent" conversation with Varric, you take a left and go passed the broken carts, then keep going until you find the lone tree at the top with the skeleton underneath it.
And that's why it took me over an hour and a half before I even got to the Pride Demon fight. ![]()

Yes you can.
Defeat the first Shade.
Follow the path and kill the next two shades.
Shortly after you'll encounter a Shade and a Wisp on a hill-defeat them both.
You'll see the path that leads up to the Wisp with a wall go along the left side. Turn around and face your character going down the steps.
You'll see a hill right in front of you.
Jump on there.
Walk and you'll see two busted wagons-there is a coin pouch in-between them.
You should see the stone arch for the bridge that broke earlier. Go through, jump over some debris and collect the coin pouch.
Looting Tips:
*Use the scanner like crazy.
*Remember this an open world game, loot is not going to be in plain sight like previous DA games. Hence, look every where, even in the Tutorial.
*If you see loot there is 9/10 way to get to it. Think of it as a mini-puzzle. Where ever the loot is located, scan the area with your eyes around the loot. Then try to deduce how to get to it. Sometimes it is simple other times it requires jumping and a lot of swearing. ![]()
Isn't there a way to get to that sack? I mean, apparently you can get that impossible mosaic piece through clipping or something. In my first game, I got every mosaic piece, except for one from The Fall, and another, also from The Fall.

I have not been able to find a way at all. As I said, I used freecam to determine a way and nadda.
Sides, you probably open it, find one item that is junk and sells for 1g piece.

Exactly. I could not believe how much I found in the opening of the game.
Do people hate exploring or something?

omfg, this has changed my life. Thank you ![]()
Hah, I don't wanna know how much time I spent madly hopping around to reach that frigging bag in Redcliffe!

You are my new personal hero! That dang pouch has haunted me ever since I first started the game.
That bag ....grrr!!!!
It made me insane ...I tried leaping shot to land gracefully on the small wall there but there's an invisible wall , I tried to climb from the dock side but again invisible wall...
Shenanigans. Only Joker pilots the Normandy.
Cullen knocks out Joker so he can seduce Edi then fly's the ship only to crash land it on top of coryfish then the credits role leaving us to wonder why we paied for this game
here I thought that bag was just out of my reach. Seems other have the same issue. I swear I did so much jumping and swearing trying to get to it and never could.
As for the loot across the bridge in the tutorial, always managed to get that. just takes a little exploring.
