"no, game to movies are all badly done, and I don't want to try changing the situation because it's too hard", is the attitude I'm reading into here.

if people like you ran the world we'd still be waiting for the internet to be invented and be reading about the game on paper and ink still. You think game to movie adaptions are just going to stop been lame and get good as if by magic?

They've already had movies, and DA even a sort of tv series starring Felicia Day. Having watched them I must admit that they're not very good. But as translating the game themselves into a movie/tv series? Why? Why can't an interactive media keep it's own stuff? This is not a book or a setting but a story shaped by the player.

If they want to continue to use the setting for stories in other media (comic books, tv, books...) that's fine, I hope that they get better with tv stuff but let's keep the games as games.

If there was to be movie or tv-series, I don't think it should focus on Warden, Hawke or Inquisitor at all. It should have it's own main character or main cast, have some people from the games and novels, but really main audience would be players of game anyways and they don't want to see some character taking place of their own and seeing things happening they have played through already.
