Hi,

I had a quick question regarding the Renegade/Paragon system in mass effect 2. Just wondering wether performing Paragon actions like in the quicktime sequences (where there are no renegade options possible), will affect my renegade point gain? 

Basically, will it affect my status as a renegade if I usually chose all the renegade options, but also chose the paragon options once in awhile when renegade options were not a possiblity in that scenario (for example helping the kid at the merc recruiting station or the alien dying from the plague in the quarantine zone.)?


A clarification would be appreciated.

From what I've seen, yes it does. But the Paragon/Renegade system seems to be much different this time around.
