if I can chip in here as some oo=ne that hasn't posted in an age...

I like both Cassandra and Jose fine my issue with the strait romances is the lack of variety rather then quality, You are basically stuck with a human andrastean(no idea how to spell that). I felt so sorry for my elf, Cassandra always going on about the maker, the second he says anything about his believes she's incredibly disproving. Its a pity that Harding wasn't fleshed out more that would have helped a lot imo.

Yeah it would have been nice to include different races of women. Sera is the only elf. And the fans have been murdering themselves to have a female qunari companion.

Funny considering that any opinion posted on those threads that were not equal to yours were quickly denied or dismissed because it's inconvenient to you. But I digress, you are never wrong right?

So no examples? I'm still waiting.

*My mistake?* My, if that isn't arrogant. You just dismissed what someone said because it was an opinion.
No I didn't. What that someone said is that saying, "I find(blah)" is a statement about the fact that this is what someone thinks. It isn't. I consider their opinion valid, which I even said. What I didn't like was being told I favor "boring stories" for liking said romance content.
If we start doing that, we might as well dismiss every single thing said in this website ever. If someone say Cassandra is bad they are wrong because it's opinion, if someone say Cassandra is good they are wrong because it's opinion. It would come to an point were there would be nothing to left for the people here to say at all.
You have no idea what you're talking about. Best just stop now while you're behind.

You really think I would wast my time backtracking to those old threads just to prove an point to you? Don't flatter yourself. You're not worth the effort. But please, feel free to gloat that you've won the argument because I choose not to bother.

And that person is completely free to find what you like boring. I'm sure there are many other things out there that I like that would bore others to tears. I wouldn't let an divergent opinion ruin my day. And I'm so sorry for being so behind, but the smell of smugness makes me unable to get too close to you.

For what it's worth, I agree.

I also find it a strange juxtaposition.

I was a Mass Effect Fan first and foremost. I felt bad for femsheps, cause most of their romances were terrible ME SPOILERS!!!

ME SPOILERS!!!

Kaidan abandons you in ME2

Jacob leaves you for another woman in ME3

Thane dies in ME3

END SPOILERS!!!

END SPOILERS!!!

So, the only good straight female option in ME is Garrus, but 1/4 is terrible.

In Dragon Age, I haven't found what I consider great romance options for straight guys since both Moriigan and Leliana.

To me, Merrill is TOO naïve/goofy and Isabela is TOO provocative/irresponsible.

Cassandra is good, but is a little too... "militant." Josephine is the exact opposite, too... "pristine."

So, I'd say that ME has better romance options for straight guys and DA has the better options for straight women.

This is fair, although Hawke and the Inquisitor doesn't necessarily like it.

Well... The more you know.

Warden: Okay, I know I just convinced you to marry Anora yesterday, but now I need you to impregnate Morrigan.

Alistair: What!? Why do you keep pimping me out to these scary women?

Warden: For the good of the realm, Alistair, for the good of the realm.

Alistair: But I...

Warden: Just be thankful that this ritual doesn't require you sleeping with the Archdemon?

Alistair: I'd prefer that over Morrigan!

Warden: Really, hmm... could that work, I mean the Archdemon is female?

Alistair: You're not... you're not serious?

Warden: ...

Alistair: *Runs out of room* I'm not listening, I'm not listening, lalalala!

I think Alistair is going to need more brain bleach...

Yes all the Old Gods are male. I guess it marks them as different from actual dragons.

True, we know that High Dragons are female, but is it still canon that the Old Gods are all male?

Part of the reason I wondered whether or not they'd changed that is because entry for the constellation Bellitanus, "the Maiden", has it mentioned that the female figure was associated with Urthemiel? Not that a female constellation can't be associated with a male God, it just seemed a little weird?

(Also, way to ruin the joke, guys... :P)

Well Urthemiel is still canonically male, as far as I know. He's still the God of Beauty, so I'm guessing the Tevinter don't have a problem with the constellation being female.
