I love Dragon Age and Telltale Games both. Keep them separated, please.

I'd gladly see a Dragon Age game in a similar style to Telltale, because it would enable them to tell stories from the perspective of people who aren't invincible murder deities.  Don't really see much need for it to be written by Telltale, though

havent played a lot of telltale games but I found the plot to TWD games too predictable, whereas DA is much more diverse when compared to. I dont know, i'd probably give it a shot tho.

Since we aren't going to get to explore every area in the DA series, I would love to see a TTG like game in those areas. I just watched Episode 1 of Life is Strange and I really love how interactive it felt and seeing how the main character interacted with her classmates, and I wouldn't mind seeing a side game set in Rivain or Antiva that lets us explore the people and culture of those areas. I also feel that a TTG like game would've served better in a place like Orlais where combat isn't as important as politicking with the nobles instead of what we got in WEWH.

I love them but TT has fantasy covered with Game of Thrones... I think now would be to much for Telltale... but as a warm up to a fourth game a year in advance... it would be awesome...

lol. You deserve my like just for this line. So true.

But I suppose it's hard to make a fun, full-length game about someone who isn't a cross between Spartacus and Jesus.

No. Dragon Age used to be about its strategic combat and choices weren't always its main focus.

I can't tell if this is serious or not.

No thanks. I watched a friend go through The Walking Dead, The Wolf Among Us, and one of the Game of Thrones. They had pretty good storytelling (especially The Wolf Among Us, probably their best game imo), but definitely not something I'd enjoy.

I think it would stop being a Dragon Age game then, wouldn't it?

no it wouldn't. Just another medium for telling stories in the DA universe.

I'd buy it. I'm not a fan of the GoT universe, so I'd enjoy a different fantasy universe for to play TT games in.

No. HELL no. That company doesn't do waifu-simulators well, and that "artistic" excuse for 1995 waifus just doesn't cut it anymore. Let Bioware continue great waifus, and telltale can keep doing mediocre ones.

I feel you.

No

Honestly if you've read any of the books then you know Bioware could pull off a Telltale style game if they desired to or get big brother EA to sign off on it

Life Is Strange is a good example of other company working the story focused angle. Rathet have Bioware get it done with their own engine and writing

If the Dragon Age series continues the developement it started in DA:I, I could get comfortable with the idea of Telltale using the IP for a game, I guess. At least I wouldn't have to worry about ressources being wasted on a multiplayer mode I do not want, that allows microtransactions.

Surprised there's actually a topic about this already. I was just pondering the same thing not too long ago. But I'd certainly give such a title a try. Might offer an interesting perspective.

I'd go with this too on gut reaction. How-e-ver...a separate story with new characters in the game world that follows lore could be fun? I don't think any serious series entry or anything with established characters would work. Something like The Last Court - in terms of lore and skirting the main story, I mean, not gameplay!

Would I like a Telltale-made DA4? Hell no, and that's not what the OP proposed.

Would I like a Telltale-made spinoff that shows a part of Thedas we haven't had a chance to explore? Of course.

I did try the Walking Dead. It was nice, but not great.
Dragon Age franchise though has won me over. I'm doing the books and the games and stuff. I would play the DA Telltale game.

I don't think I would play DA or ME game made by Telltale Games because I hate quick time events so much. If I could play it for free then I probably would try it but otherwise no.

If Telltale could do a DA and/or ME game, sign me the heck up! I think the story of DA and ME could easily be great fit for how Telltale like to tell their stories.

I enjoy Telltale's games.  I would probably play something like this.  However, I can imagine what kind of story they could tell. DA is a game whose major selling point is it's story.  Unless they were going to create some sort of alternate universe, I don't see this working.

I think games like  Life is Strange, Heavy Rain, and Beyond Two Souls are better examples of what it could look like if Bioware did it themselves
