Hmmm. Would you be willing to PM me about this experience?

Sure thing, lovey.

Dammit, I'm all sugary now.  I blame Danielle.  She even made me change to a loveable bear avatar.  I need the Grizzly back.

You know, I did always relate to Morrigan.  Being Russian/Soviet you're not really allowed to be all huggy feely and smiling is for stupid people.  So when I got my first American friends who are always touchy and expressive I had no idea what to do with them.

I'm still very bound in some ways.  Then someone will hand me a golden mirror and I don't know what to say.  ;)

I love Morrigan as much as Leliana almost (the almost is only because of the Leliana romance feels). She was always an extremely clever character. You could write her off as a ******, but taking the time to get under her defensive shell is so worth it. The DAI feels were amazing. <3

That gave me a good laugh. :) I'm thinking of some of the Origin comments too.

Have you played it recently? I started a new run last week. Oh the feels... :) The banter really was brilliant.

I last played right before DAI was released. I so love that game, played it more than any game I've owned. It was my first BioWare game and I think it will always be my favorite.

I was thinking about why I am so hostile to Inquisition and why I loved DA:O and I think it comes down to Skyhold versus your little camp.  DAO feels intimate. It has a Fellowship of the Ring quality.  You're not surrounded by armies that can help.  Its just you and your friends.

It's cozier.

Weirdly the only thing the armies in Inquisition help with is setting up your DA:O style camps.

True but you "know" they're there.  Skyhold just isn't as cozy and you don't seem exposed.

Oh I agree. I guess my point was that they ruin the band of adventurers camping feeling but don't actually add anything outside of a little plot fuel.

True.  The Inquisition camps are useless.  They never help with the bears. I ran back to camp thinking they'd help.  Nope.

It would have been enjoyable to be able to have conversations with your companions at the small camps, maybe have some of the cozy feelings within them.

I miss the in-the-field dialogue.  That was awesome on toast.

I'm really trying to mix up my companions this time. But the "big three" of Alistair, Morrigan and Leliana is just perfect. <3 Once I get Shale and Wynne I have to mix it up a bit. Those two are awesome, too.

Leliana's line about Morrigan's perfect outfit just sends me to pieces now. :D

I can't go to the deep roads without Shale, she's my hero against the broodmother. :)

Edit: night all I had a really enjoyable day, thank you.

Inquisition soldiers aren't stupid, they signed up for fighting demons not bears.

Fenris definitely. Anders always struck me as gay, despite his Awakening comments. Merrill and Josephine are slightly more plausible. By "demeanour", well I mean naive and innocent people can be gay or bi, too. ;) Merrill is hot for Qunari blokes though, we know. Don't remember any particular contradictory dialogue for either. I romanced Josephine, and have to admit it was kind of fun doing this textbook traditional soppy romance story as a female PC. ;)
Conversely, I've always felt Morrigan, Alistair and Cassandra come across as definitely straight, and I'm baffled by mods to change them. The reaction to such mods for Dorian and Sera is a bit hypocritical in that sense. Though Cassandra did break my gay little heart. :(

I've seen people going postal that Cullen is racist. :s I agree, it's more realistic and simply a preference.

I love Fenris. He's so matter of fact about things while totally being complicated due to his past. He actually reminds me of someone I knew so I didn't really get any weird vibes from him.

Apparently there is such a thing.

Maybe they reproduce asexually?

If it's good enough for t-rex it's good enough for our hidden society!
