Wow the DLC cost more than the game now. 1 DLC cost the same as all 3 games combined. Why jack the prices up like this.  5.00 should be the price by now.

Agreed. Someone is asleep at the wheel at EA/BioWare. I constantly buy stuff off Steam thanks to frequent sales, but I will not touch the ME3 DLC unless it goes on sale. I was a major fan of the series too. Heck I just replayed ME2 a couple weeks ago, but when I reinstalled ME3 and realized the DLC was still not on sale, I uninstalled it a couple hours later.

The prices aren't "jacked up" they're the same price they've always been, just fyi. All the dlc goes on sale on console every few months, just not on pc. If you're in the usa and use the hola proxy to tell origin you're in uzbekistan or some other place like that, you can go to the origin store on the web and get the points for almost half the price. Hope that helps you out.

That means prices were jacked up since the beginning.

The OP was asking why DLC prices were raised, I was pointing out they're the same as they've always been, and sometimes cheaper on console. Anything else is your opinion.

About once a year. I can only remember of two times the ME DLC were on sales since ME3 was out on the xbox marketplace. And even on sale (50 or 66% I don't remember exactly) the price of ME3 DLC felt too high for me.

I agree. I'm going through all 3 games again due to an unfortunate incident with my old saves and I happened to miss the Citadel and Omega DLCs. Was thinking that 2-3 years later they wouldn't be full price but lo and behold, there they are as if they came out yesterday.

I was lucky enough that all DLCs were on sale (on psn) when I finished ME3 3 weeks ago. Instant buy :)

It was on sale on console last September. Sure the dlc could be cheaper by now, but on the flip side I personally consider sub 100 for the trilogy plus all story dlc to still be a good deal, considering the general quality, my enjoyment, replaybility etc. Just trying to make the best of it here.

Really? The EU PSN seems to have it on sale all the time.

Maybe it's on different schedules in different markets? I'm the the USA, I hear about sales here but I'm not sure about other regions, sorry.

Comparing the Xbox live marketplace (on my 360) and the PSN store (on my PS4), they are very different place commercialy. the Xbox people could check it out and learn a thing or two about commerce.

Xbox Live just had a sale on all DLC like a month ago. PSN had a sale 3 times in 2014. PC - zero. EA will gouge it to the limits

Msn and Sony are in charge of the console dlc pricing I think, and ea is in charge of pc pricing, if that helps to explain anything. I heard that's why me3 isn't on steam, because valve would be in charge of prices there.
