I can't say I'm too impressed with Inquisition. I've played Orgins, Awakening, Dragon Age II and thought they were great...this one is just too much hack n slash like an MMO. It doesn't even play the same as the others in the series. You can't assign attributes, sometimes there's too much talking in the game, and it doesn't even come with a manual. I shouldn't have to post in forums to get answers about how to distribute non-existent attributes, or how to interact, fight, etc. I have 4 points showing in the level up menu, but have no idea what they are even for. For $60, that's sad.

I appreciate everyone's opinions if they like the game, but for me, I'm not happy with it and am stuck with a $60 game that is not even in the same class as the other Dragon Age EA games.

Can't Assign Attributes: Through passives, bruh.

Too much talking: Go play CoD, thanks.

Manual: Soo... I actually brought up my retail copy. "Manual available at: (url)"

4 points in the level up menu, no idea what to do with them: Wait, really...? You have no idea...?

In the end, either you simply didn't even bother finding stuff out and then try to blame others for your own mess ups...

Or this is a troll thread, in which case 8/8 m8.

Sorry, but to much talking? How is this a negative thing? It is the hallmark of a good rpg.

Um, you allocate those points in your ability trees.

I agree, there's a lack of rpg elements; especially apparent in the many side-quests which almost always lack any real choices. I don't enjoy it as much as DA2 at least. It's more fun for me combat-wise than DA:O though. And they certainly should have had an in-game manual instead of telling me to go online.

Uh-huh - riiiiiiiiiiight. Well, you just try that hacking and slashing on Nightmare if you're playing anything other than a Knight-Enchanter and let me know how things work out. *rolleyes*

Okay, I have complaints about the game myself. But honestly, it sounds like you diidnt read the instructions or listen to the tutorial at the beginning of the game. :/ and too much talking in and RPG? Like seriously...this aint no C.O.D. Maybe RPG's are not the game genre for you..tbh

To much talking? Has OP somehow unlocked a hidden continuation of the main story with a lot of actual dialogue? Or does he consider the average "Inquisitor help please I need some Elfroot/medicine/stones/bear a*ses." followed by a "Here is your Elfroot/medicine/bunch of stone/sack full of bear a*ses" for sidequest to be to much talking already?

(...)this one is just too much hack n slash like an MMO. (...) sometimes there's too much talking in the game(...)

So, you want a game that will be less of a hack&slash but also have less talking?...

<insert mandatory joke about recommending Tetris>

No, but seriously, there are some valid concerns when it comes to this game, but aren't these two somewhat contradictory?

I pretty much agree with you apart from the too much talking part obviously..

Kinda just waiting on the patch and hoping it makes the game a little better myself..
