Some Chick named Liana Kerzner seems to think so.  I found an Article in the TechRaptor forums entitled "Why Feminist Frequency Almost Made me Quite Writing About Video Games"  If someone could link that for me I'd Appreciate it.

Anyways if true that would be too bad to not have desire demons anymore.  What do you think of desire demons?

They should have compromised and made futanari desire demons. Something for everyone!

Were sloth demons cut because they were offensive to lazy people?

Were hunger demons cut because they were offensive to hungry people?

**** gets cut. Don't read stuff into it when there's no need to.

Totally, David Gaider has always expressed his desire for a more androgynous design for desire demons so why not?

I love it when I can just reuse old answers.

So they decided to go PC by changing the desire demon but introducing actually nude romance scenes?

I've been noticing that enemy variety has taken a sharp slump downward in recent Bioware titles. Both ME3 and DA:I have far less enemy types than the games that came before. The explanation is that enemies are actually being made distinct and unique as opposed to just the same enemy with different stats and appearance.

So we missed out on a few demons. I guess they couldn't find a niche for them to make them unique to say, a Despair Demon. They'll probably show up in the DLC anyhow.

I dunno. Were abominations cut to avoid offending the disfigured? Were werewolves cut to avoid offending hairy people?

We actually have quite a bit more variety than in DA2, which I'm thankful for.

DAI added quite a few new creatures to the bestiary of Thedas.

No, DA:i absolutely doesn't.

ME3 has 3 groups of enemies. That's it.

DA:I had loads of different animals, bandits, carta dwarves, demons, templars, venatori, Chasind, Freemen and several well done bosses.

Having in mind how retardedly purist this society is regarding everything about sex (way more than to violence, hunger or laziness), there IS a need to discuss those matters.

So if seven characters were cut, one of whom was a gay man, would it be worth raising a fuss because homophobia is prominant in our society?

If they were the only thing demon, maybe. They are not.

Not in this case methinks. Abominations and Blood Mages (in general - Venatori mages shooting spells don't count) didn't make it in-game. Truthfully, probably because there wasn't any need for them.

And just so the OP knows, Desire Demon statues can be found in the Fade and the Hissing Wastes. ;)

The difference is that sloth demons and such doesn't make an appearance because they just doesn't, not because they were cut apart. But Desire demons does make one, and tadaa! It's totally different than the DA:O and DA2' ones.

Coincidence? Yeeeah, right...

Well, if Desire demons weren't amicable, they'd be the less dangerous things in the Fade, cos nobody would like to have dealings with them xP

Or do you have any personal desire of yours that isn't tempting?
