Maybe when closing all rifts it would make the last mission easier? Or something like it?

Then people would complain they "had" to do them or it would be too hard (or so they would claim).

No, it's needs to provide an incentive that is appealing to completionists, but which casual players won't much care about. Perhaps a bit of cool lore, a special cutscene, or a powerful item?

Closing the Rifts is the reason you were made Inquisitor in the first place.

And getting the ingredients to maek Runes is a big plus

Not from a gameplay perspective.

From a role-playing perspective however, Inqi is the only one who can do it.

Why? They're just so much fun to dodge them with Fade Step... :D

I'll tell my warrior and rogue that.

I really love using my Mark of the Rift ability, though.

Tell your warrior to shield bash or pommel bash and save the attacks for before the terrors get all annoying. Rogues ould us arrow dodge attacks while equipped with daggers or any archery attack for tht matter but its forbidden to allow this mechanic as rogues would be OP or some crap. I hate decisions made by othrs when they could of been made by me HA!

No, but a good Lantern would do so. You're supposed to protect Thedas of Space Sector 2814, you wouldn't be doing your job if you were just letting the Black Lanterns emerging from the rifts run loose on the country side.
