Perhaps the RWS Gorgon could be posted to the new Vault so that builders can have access? ![]()

I pointed out the existing models only as a help if you needed to prioritize your building efforts. Adding more models is always a good thing. I just wanted to make people aware of work that had already been done, in case people missed it. That happens more often then people think.

True for beholders and grey renders, but I'd like to have an alternate hobgoblin, personally.
I'm using tinted grey orcs as hobgoblins, so they use half-orc armour appearances and have the full range of player race animations. There are half-orc armour accessories that aren't available to other races that look quite hobgobliny (yes, I invented a word).
I've also scripted the gorgon special abilities. They charge when they first perceive an enemy, and I've made changes to the petrification breath script to include working VFX.

I'm liking that bulette. And the rhinoceros beetle reminds me of the enormous variety in Icewind Dale. I'd give it a hi-res texture, because that bad boy is getting scaled UP. ![]()

There is another beetle I converted that would probably be closer to that. It is one of the models I forgot to show in the most recent group shot. I will probably convert the fire beetle as well, it is different than the NWN2 version and could possibly be retextured for more variety.

It would be really cool to have a NWN2-animation-styled Green Dragon.
That part is done already
.
I've just finished the walk animation, but this time the dragon stays on four legs. For consistency, it however means I have to redo the attack animations too.

I might be interested in doing those Ettercaps. The CEP and Project Q stuff can be up to someone else to do. I like Ettercaps, and fat belly ones might be fun to whip with 4760's whips.
If you do get a finished ettercap, please PM me. I've got an area in my project with a low res one and this would spruce it up a bit.

I ported the NWN Ettercap over a month ago. The weighting is done and the creature is fully functional. I will be releasing this project in the near future. I have been extremely busy with non-gaming life for the past few weeks. I need to finish fixing the weighting on a few more models before I release. Expect to see something posted here in the near future. If I have time before the initial release, expect to see MANY more creatures added as well.

Is there any chance you could include Mephistopheles in your release? He's the final boss monster in HotU, but I think he would also make an effective arch daemon in a high level setting. Thanks.

I can do that. Are you planning to try to get a team together for an HoTU port? He would definitely be a nice addition for such a project.

That'd be great. Thanks.
I've been looking it over in the Aurora toolset and a port definitely looks do-able. Most of what's missing now are the monsters and the sound files. The latter can be extracted using nwnexplorer, but it will be laborious work. I'm hoping that the scripts and conversations are fairly portable. There will obviously be some differences with a NWN2 version, but that can be turned into a positive.

I just wanted to post here in case anyone was wondering about the recent lack of updates. I am still very busy with non-gaming things, I will probably not be able to release this project until late May. Thanks for the interest in my conversions, I hope the community will enjoy them after the release.

Thanks FaerzressSparkles, I figured that was the case. In my case, it's going to be quite a while before I'm even at the point where I'd need to use them.

I was just about to query, as I'm getting tapped for more critters by my PW.
Thanks for the update, and can't wait to see this stuff. =)

I will resume work on these models in a few days. So expect to see some new screens within a week, and possibly a release if I fix all of the weighting in a short time.

I may have left a few models out. It has been a long time since I have been able to work on these at a steady pace. I need to fix the weighting a bit on a few more, but an initial release is getting closer. All of these have been fully functional gameplay-wise since March or April. Their soundsets, blueprints, and animations were all completed during those two months.

Have you had an opportunity to have a look at the Mephistopheles model? ![]()

I did have time to look at it back in April, I have not worked on it since then.
The issues remaining are just small weighting issues that should not take too long. Sadly, NWN2 modding does not help one earn money or progress in their graduate studies. I must continue to prioritize other things for the time being. But do not worry, the project will be done. - So sayeth the wise FaerzressSparkles. ![]()
