Admittedly, Heroes of Dragon Age has me hooked. I play it a lot more than I intended to, and I keep coming back to it. But the reason why I picked it up in the first place is to take pictures of its character art. In the game, every character has four tiers, which changes their visual appearance as well as increase their level cap. Some of them are actually quite
cool, and I sort of wish the mainstream Dragon Age could take them.
I have an example image here. It's a Templar Recruit, a character of common rarity.
It's not anything special, but after seeing all four tiers, I actually started to imagine how a Templar looks as they move up through the ranks. I imagined that fresh recruits are dealt the standard bucket, get their first notch on their helmet when they've proven themselves, get wings if they're veterans, and so and so forth.
Edit: A more noticeable example: Knight-Commander Greagoir. He turns from ordinary Greagoir into fully-fledged "I am in charge here."
There's some interesting stuff we can tap into. Does anyone else think so?
