I realized that the only thing that keeps me are the weekend events.

 

With the current state of the game, 

my assumption is that this is inevitable after a certain number of hours played.

 

I am just wondering what you guys are experiencing.

 

During the week I see no reason to play anymore.

 

 

One might say now: Isn't this what happens with all games sometime?

Well - yes and no.

 

The reason why I say this is that I believe this game would have had so much more potential.

Potential for many hundreds of hours more.

 

And no - this MUST not happen sometime. Because it still hasn't happened with ME3 MP for me.

I've just played it for another 4 hours (definitely more than thousand in total) and enjoyed every second. 

The matches were so intense that my head has turned red and now I am shaking.... ;-)

 

Bioware, you once created heaven with ME3 and with your gathered experience, the new engine

and the new hardware generation,

all signs were that you could do it again with DAMP.

 

COULD have done it.

DAMP is definitely a case of unmet potential.

 

I try to earn a promotion every day but some days (like today) I just don't feel like it. I'll always play for weekend challenges, though. I like the game. I just wish it felt better to play it. Then again, even SP feels more like work than play sometimes.

I'm in a somewhat similar point of view, and I've likely put far less time than you in it.

 

I want to play this game a lot, but then I think about how much of a chore it is by now and I just can't get the urge to log in and do a few matches unless any of my friends are actively playing.  It's getting hard to justify doing weekend events, even.

Nah it's fun. It needs new content, but the gameplay is at least decently fun.

I still enjoy the MP, but I have limited time to play through the week, and divide my efforts between different games, so its going to be fresher for me that a lot of you guys. Im mainly a weekend player, but only because tuesdays and wednesdays are special destiny player days. I play dragon age single player, and grind a little on warframe in between the occasional mp game on DAMP.

Between lack of new content and rng loot, I only play DAMP for weekend events.

I enjoy it. But the game is just plagued with bugs and it's difficult to find people to play with.

Only for weekend events now, I can't find any Perilous game nowadays thanks to region lock/ small player base, It's funny that the game is actually much better now but no one plays it any more.
Just a comparison: in the mean time, I can instantly find Platinum lobbies in ME3MP, even weekend events in that game was long gone.

I play as much as possible. My only limitations are work, connectivity and the lack of people to play with.

Still playing somewhat regularly. New job is shuffling my schedule a bit which makes it harder. Its definitely more fun playing with the BSNers I've met on PS4 though.

I hope DAIMP can be saved, but I don't think it's a good outlook. So I'm enjoying it while I can.

but maps don't really make a difference in DA, do they??

 

 

Just compare DA maps with

"bringing your N7 Fury either to Glacier or London (or even worse: Condor...)" 

 

On Glacier you lay the whole place in ashes -

on London the Collectors just laugh at you. Probably even your teammates.

 

 

My point is: DA is work. No matter which map they ever give us.

 

You don't have to adept to the environment or enemy.

You don't have to pick the right consumables nor the right weapons for the maps.

You don't even need different tactics for different maps (after 800 hours ME3 I still learned how to 

act in certain situations)

This game is all about grind. Most people play for the coveted gear and/or promotions. Seems like a chore most of the time.

I have hardly any promotions compared to most BSNers and I honestly can't see how they played as much as they have. Of course strictly puggin because none of my friends have dai makes it even worse.

Not having friends to play with can be discouraging and make it feel like even more of a grind   It's terribly frustrating for me because I do have a friend with DA that I really want to play with but almost never can because 75% of our games blackscreen or crash.

 

I still have a decent number of items I'm hoping for and challenges to complete so I'm happy to play every night, though that happiness is punctuated with fits of extreme rage and keyboard smashing.

Oddly enough, DAMP is the only thing I can play right now on a regular basis, so it's still good fun for me. Weekend challenges definitely help distract from the usual grind. I'll likely keep playing until the next single-player patch comes out, and hopefully the first single-player DLC.

Two or three nights per week for a couple of hours and no more than that. It should be enough to still stay in touch but not enough to get bored. My main concern is that there is not enough variety map-wise even with opening every door. The maps do not really have any kind of impact on tactics or approaches to spawn nuking as they are all the same and just have different visuals. I did not play a lot but it starts to get somewhat dull.

Having friends to play with is paramount in this game.
The game is dull, tedious, it is like a chore but it can be enjoyable when you have friends. It can even be addictive.

Since Patch 3 however, I've been increasingly struggling to get teams of friends to play with, and it gets worse by the day. Too many are leaving, no one is coming. Given how bad it was last week, I can't expect this coming week to be any better, even though I desperately friend request any active PC player whose existence I am aware - it doesn't help.

I see myself not playing as much as I would like to due to lack of people, and of course not being able to pug (region-lock). Sometimes I ask myself how in the face of so many adversities I've managed to reach the Prestige that I have now. I am probably the most stubborn DAMP player.

Definitely weekend events and a couple of games most days. It's less a matter of being bored and more a matter of other things taking precedence over any video game.

At this point,I am bored and frustrated as hell with this game.Bored because lack of content,but I miss so many high level items,so I just keep playing to get them.

I dunno,sometimes I am struggling with myself not to send this game to trash and forget about it.
