Sure, my hunch is that I can get it upto 3,548, stay tuned.
All you nay sayers should try it on a GI with Barrage Gear and have a head popping good time before you fully dismiss it.
I know I tried it before on a GI awhile back and wasn't as happy with it on this kit, but my mental memory note on the higher recoil thanks to Hunter mode must of stuck in my head since. Because this time I slapped that Barrage Gear, and it was like aiming a deadly accurate lazer for decapitation head pops. Sure made me think twice about this weapon... 10/10.
The indra is a very good mook killer: it is low weight, it has a good accuracy and decent DPS. It lacks DPS to be a good boss killer but there are many kits where you can remedy this problem, either by beefing up the DPS (huntermode, marksman, etc) or having a power/grenade that kills bosses fast (inferno grenade, annihalition field, any biotic combo detonator kit). Too bad we dont have a AR like the Indra.

you know I love you, but that's like saying "X" weapon is good on a Turian Soldier.
It's a GI; everything works on it.

I have heard that shuriken is good on the TSol.

I thought the topic was about being fun & folks saying the Indra ain't fun. And what I said was I had a lot of fun yesterday with an Indra on a GI with the key ingredient being Barrage Gear & head pops. And to please give this a try if you haven't had fun with this weapon in awhile as a suggestion.

I wish I had one of these Marshall amps cause they can go to 11. That's one louder than oll the other amps, you know.

I thought in the Mass Effect world we call that a GI...
My favorite assault rifle. ![]()
I know there's another one out there that picks your weapons, class and gear along with map & faction, but if I'm running a Shuriken I'm not bringing a Warfighter Package.

Working as intended. ![]()
Oops double post. Sozzy
Raptor and Mattock are both better in the same role, but Indra isn't bad and is a better choice for lesser race weaklings with jelly fingers. It makes a better assault rifle than almost every non UR assault rifle (sans Mattock) because it actually hits where you are aiming while doing reasonable damage.
It works particularly well on Infiltrators because the time taken to empty it meshes pretty well with TC and you get a damage boost, and it is light enough to also bring a shotgun for anti armor duties (If you don't feel like sitting there and dumping 4+ Indra clips into them).
I have heard that shuriken is good on the TSol.
Have you tried mattock on Tsol though

I wrote the thread as a confession more than anything; I've been very down on the Indra for a while and every time it's mentioned I have negative comments. I had fun with the setup the randomizer gave me and will probably try it with more setups to see how else I can make it viable vs. some of the weapons I stick to (Venom, Javelin, CSMG, etc) to switch things up a bit more.
With that said, I will give this setup a try one of these days, but I don't GI often.
It sucks on platinum if you're using it for damage. So there is that...
I keep forgetting that it exists. I don't even remember what level mine is, but I've never used it. Not on platinum, not even on gold.

Sure, if you like to pew pew enemies for half an hour, than I'll say it's fine. Did I mention the Avenger isn't that bad? ![]()
It's a cool gun, but it's a weird design -- a rapid fire Sniper Rifle with Tracer Rounds
Rapid Fire: you do NOT need to scope in because it works like an assault rifle.
Sniper Rifle: you DO need to scope in to avoid the massive penalty for not being scoped in.
Tracer Rounds: you do NOT need to scope in because the tracer rounds allow you to correct your aim on the fly.
I can never figure out how to use the Indra. Whichever way I'm using it is wrong. ![]()

This trumps the others.

To be fair the Indra isn't bad, certainly not as bad as the Avenger. That said it's not the CSR, Widow, BW, or Javelin. I run it on the DAI a lot on Platinum and do just fine but a lot of the in between shooting is recon mine explosion which clears big groups of infantry.
