Lemme tell you, I love inquisition multiplayer, its party banter included. The characters are hilarious and at this point I'm probably just as interested in them as characters, as my party in single-player

A lot of players complain about the repetition in the multiplayer banter, but really, to hear more all you need to do is run w diverse parties. For each of the three lines? are at least 12 unique responses, all of which flesh out the characters and the interrelations of the group. Learning more about a characters past through what they say as opposed to playing through a narrative can be a really great way to tell a story. But to get the full story, the content needs to be brief enough that one person can have a chance of hearing the whole thing.

So, in trying to see how much nuance is tucked into the lines, like two weeks ago, I started looking for a transcription... and couldn't find anything that approached an accurate, comprehensive record of the party banter, you know, the way one exists for Inquisition single-player's dialogue and banter on the wiki.

So I made my own [link]    :D

A not quite yet complete list of all the online multiplayer dialogue, for all your accurate and complete characterization needs!! & Pls feel free to drop me comments with lines or corrections that are missing

I love ME3MP but have yet to try DAMP. I'll probably play it just for the banter

Wow! This is amazing! I applaud for your hard work!! I like to see the way they look at their superiors, ie the advisors.

Maybe you should also record the responses they make after receiving orders and completing objectives, say josie:'blah blah, certain heirloom is lost' then elementalist:'(something like) I am done playing fetch'/necro:'(something like)Am I reduced to doing the Inquisition's every bid?'/assasin:'What the Inquisition wants, the Inquisition gets.'

So innocent that I'm convinced s/he is a brutal serial killer.

Good work MarcHaunts!

I like the DAMP banter. My favourite lines come from the alchemist, that completely nuts dwarf with a taste for mushrooms.

I don't thing it's repetitive, but I want more banter lines for DAMP. Even better if more lines come from more characters.

haha thanks! it's taking a long time, but it's worth it when i hear one or two new lines every time I play :D

On the individual tabs, if you scroll down past the chart with the three main phrases, I've started writing those down too actually!! It's a lot more difficult to categorize because I can't always tell what the trigger was for the line, and I have no idea how many of each they've got... but I'm getting there :3

at this rate i'll have prestige'd them all like 5 times before im done lol

you know, i've read that there were/are plans to add more content to the multiplayer, like more characters (source). But looking at the way the dialogue pairs are set up... I sort of feel it's more likely we'd get NPCs with new lines, like the ones from the escort missions, sooner than we'd get more playable characters... it's just a hunch, one that I hope is wrong tbh because i'd love more PCs. But at the same time, if i'm right... I wouldn't mind some more npc variety, or like, cameos from the single-player.

you can only hear "Hello, it's me you're looking for. Do you even know what I carry?......... I survived despite your incompetence. Now run along and do whatever you menials do. I'm late for the Lady Ambassador." so many times before going nuts

Despite all the butt demons, Living Gardens, ruined red lyrium monsters, glam-rock demon Cullen, etc. in the DA:I concept art book, the single most disturbing thing in there to me is the concept art of Belinda looking chirpy as hell with three giant sets of irons for apostates' wrists strapped to her back.

These are awesome, thanks for posting them!

Legionnaire: Once, when I was in the Deep Roads, I held off a group of darkspawn for two days.

Katari: Why didn't they just step over you?

Archer: So when we get back, does anyone fancy a drink at the tavern? That’s what friends do, right?

Legionnaire: (warmly) I would gladly share ale with you.

I ship it.
