I ran into some of that rain yesterday. In typical fashion, it tanked my framerate and then everything froze.

I don't know the statistics of active server loggins but IMO I believe the vast majority of players have moved on. Other MP games killing ME3 MP or not is all a matter of personal preference. It did die for some and others it didn't..

I believe what kept most people on this forum going with this MP was the community itself. The friendships and close virtual bonds formed since launch I believed played a big part in forming the bias

It died for me but not because of other MP games

Skyrim didn't kill this game, and I'd wager it's rather helped the series. It demonstrated that giving players more freedom both in terms of morality and exploration works very well. Those lessons have not been ignored and much as Skyrim influenced DAI's development, so too will it influence ME4's development.

The vast majority are gone, yes.

 

But ME3 MP won't die until NME releases.

 

DAI MP may die before ME3 MP, really.

 

ME3 MP may technically survive through the rest of this decade.

 

I hope someone makes an illegal (or whatever) version available so I can one time/year obsess over getting all the trophies for my personal satisfaction, even after EA hosting ends.

DA:I helped bring new players to me3 & it brought some old man players back. Maybe other games will do that as well
