Thank you very much for Mass Effect 1 2 and Mass Effect 3 these are more then games to me they are a part of my Life and a part of me. I am one of those people that cares so much about these games. That I would not be a Gamer anymore if these games was not able to be enjoyed and played anymore. and I have been gaming for 27 plus years now. and I know a lot of people did not like the ending of Mass Effect 3 and had other issues with Mass Effect 3 as well. That is Fine but for me The endings did nothing to sway my Love for this Trilogy at all sure at 1st I had to think over the ending before the EC and yes I played Mass Effect 3 before the EC. but I seen in my mind that the people I kept alive during mass effect 1 2 and 3 that they was still Alive and I had a deep feeling that yeh they was going to rebuild what was destroyed and that not everyone died and was left behind on earth. but that is just my feelings on it not everyone is going to agree and that is fine to each there own. but I just wanted to Say a heartfelt and a very deep Thank you to Bioware for all the games and the Amazing DLC for each one. ![]()

Bioware is slowly but surely ruining my life ![]()
I loved Dragon Age first and only started ME1 last year. I have to admit I had to warm up to the Mass Effect Universe a bit at first, as Sci-Fi is definitely not my favourite genre. I really liked ME1 & 2, but it was the 3rd game that got me completely hooked and invested, and now I'm replaying the entire Trilogy.
In the end I cared so much for my Shepard (which I didn't even believe was possible) that I sobbed uncontrolably during the end of ME3 (I'm one of the people that love the ending) and I started to play ME1 again to overcome my grief, hahaha.
Bioware does a lot of things right to keep me interested in their franchises, and I hope they'll continue like that.

Yea I hear ya
Bioware will always be one of my Fav Dev teams of Gaming. and I have played Dragon Age as well its very fun and awesome but for me Sci-Fi is my heaven. I am a Sci-Fi freak so Mass Effect had a big Impact on me the 1st time I played it. and im sure like many. the 1st Bioware Game I played was Star Wars Kotor on the Xbox and what a Classic still one of if not the Best Star Wars games ever Made. so coming from that to Mass Effect 1 was a Dream come true to me

I have to admit I had to warm up to the Mass Effect Universe a bit at first, as Sci-Fi is definitely not my favourite genre.
I had that.
I bought Mass Effect 1 together with Saints Row 1 back in the summer of 2008. At first I wasn't "all that" about it, decided "I guess like Saint Row better".
Now 7 years (..nostalgic depression onset) later, I never finished Saints Row, while I've played the first Mass Effect about 8~10 times, the second ME 6 or 7 times, and the third ME 3 times, and by the end of Mass Effect 1 I was thinking "this is the best game ever"; After feeling a little teary eyed as the Alliance selflessly saved the counsil & joker dived right into that vucking reaper.
You could say my opinion completely reversed!
And now there probably barely a day where I don't have a second where Mass Effect pops up in my mind. I guess it's like coïtus... Sex.

As much as I love to vent about the things Bioware does wrong from time to time I still think this kind of praise is important because there's no question that Mass Effect was my big takeaway from last-gen. It was the most unexpected and amazing thing to come out of last-gen and it meant a lot to me.
So, I guess, thank you Bioware! You make games we love to play.

Yeah thanks Bioware.
Thanks to you, I have stopped watching most tv shows I followed and I virtually stopped playing other video games because everytime I finish Mass Effect 3, I start another playthrough of the trilogy.
Currently finishing ME3 and already thinking about the next Shepard.

Bioware has done things that gamers don't always agree with sure but when you take a step back and look at all the good they have done. its easy to see how amazing there games are. and I have played a good amount of RPGs in my time and one of those is Skyrim now Skyrim is a fun game. its fun to mod and such but as far as the base game I never felt close to it like I did to mass effect. I could have not cared less about the story or people in Skyrim. but that's just me but the story never drew me in I never cared about who I was in the game and just never felt close to the story at all. now I know there's a ton of people that love Skyrim and I am very happy for them. I am glad they enjoy it and love it
. but just for me I didn't feel close to it at all unlike Mass Effect. I guess that just shows how good Bioware is at story telling ![]()

It's safe to say that Bioware created epic games. I'm not really a person to complain about things and maybe I'm just easily satiesfied with a lot of stuff, but when I sometimes read people's demands on here I can just scratch my head. Sure it's nice if people can leave feedback and the devs actually take that serious, but people are usually really horrible and rude about it. It's too bad that not everyone can have what *they* want in a game, but use common sense. It's impossible to ever satisfy everyone. Someone will always complain, different people have different needs and ideas. But ok, that's another topic.
Bioware has given us some of the most amazing characters in videogame history. There are so many memorable ones, characters that are so dear to my heart.
And their games do have the tendency to make you want to play them all over again.
I remember last year. I wanted to play something in January to bridge the time until FF Lightning Returns was released in February. I still hadn't played DA2 at that point so I decided to go for this. I played it, then tried out FF for a few hours on the day it came out I quit in fury because of the stupid timer they included (you're arriving in the first town and have to rush through it instead of exploring? Yeah thanks.). So then I started a DA:O playthrough as a mage, did that, played through DA2 again, then downloaded ME1 (I had ME2 sitting on my shelf for quite some time, but decided to wait until I can play ME1), played through this, started ME2, but didn't finish it unfortunately because I reeeeally needed to play DA:O (Dalish Elf
) and DA2 again before Inquisition came out. So after playing through DA:I 3 times I finally finished ME2 in January this year, then immediately played through ME3, and went back to start my next Trilogy run again. I swear it's a vicious cycle and I can't see it stop someday! I already planned several more characters to play with DA, and I also want to roll a FemShep at some point... (and btw I still haven't played the FF game
)
It's not even necessarily the story (hero saves X) that got me hooked, but the lore, characters and universe they created that makes it all so lively and makes me love those games so much. And even if some people complain that the games don't always have impacting choices, I do love what we got. You can shape your character to a certain extend and that's all I need from these games ![]()

Yea you are very right about that People for the most part can be so nasty and mean and just pure hatefilled.
I understand how people was let down by the old endings I can see that and I am sorry they was not what you wanted. but look Bioware did not just act like they didn't care they made the EC to give people more time to spend with the characters In Mass Effect that you love. and to Answer a lot of the things people wanted to answers to. and I feel they did that and they was so good enough to not charge for it so that was very nice of them. and no you can never ever please everyone out there. so as such there is people that said pretty much nothing would change there mind on mass effect unless bioware just did a whole new ending. I am glad they didn't change the ending they just gave more detail into it and I loved that. And one thing I have to give a big shout out to bioware for is the Citadel DLC for mass effect 3 I mean wow that DLC was just a cherry on top for me I mean like a lot of people I held Lair of the Shadow Broker as my all time top Mass Effect DLC but I have to say Citadel DLC became my main fav and Lair of the Shadow Broker took 2nd to it haha
I mean I did cry and laugh so much to that DLC its not even funny just the way they did it was a Pure Love Letter to Fans that has been with Mass Effect since 2007
. I think it is safe to say if you have been with Mass Effect since the start then the Citadel DLC just showed you how much you really do love the Characters and just how amazing they are and when that DLC ends well people said the ending was bittersweet well not as much as the Citadel DLC for me haha when they all take the group photo and you see your Shep and your Squad all there...wow such a Impact it hits you hard. and I wont ever forget that.

I, for one, raged for days because of the original ending(s). Not only because they were severly lacking but because I had put so much time and heart into the characters. Over time, and with the release of the free EC DLC, I became more satisfied with the conclusion. Taking Liara and Garrus with me on the run to the beam gave me the heartbreaking final scene with her. The lame talk with ghost kid was....lame. The four EC endings though...were so much better than the originals I couldn't help but be happy with them. If you want true disappointment the original endings are the way to go. Bioware upgraded the endings for free and people still bitched about them. I can understand that. But changing the endings at all was a major step in the right direction.
In fact, here is the link to my Thank You to Bioware: http://forum.bioware...nk-you-bioware/
I have no reason to worry about literature/story right way/wrong way opinions because my Shepard lived on...by Control. I ruled the Reapers, helped rebuild the Mass Effect universe, shared millions of years of knowledge, and policed the galaxy. The Geth didn't die. No one was forced into Synthesis against their will. I saved everyone!
Whew...didn't know I still had that in me.
Thank You

Yea I understand what you mean like I said the Original Ending's didn't effect me that much. but I fully understand why they did effect others like yourself. and I am glad you enjoyed the EC Endings. true they was not perfect but then what is in this world but for you and many others they was a nice ending for a lot of people. and a lot of people was satisfied with the endings not all but not everyone is going to be happy with anything. and yea I feel you I took Liara and Garrus with me on the end misson as well and Liara is my Love with my Maleshep and Garrus is my Femshep's Love. and yeh it was very Bittersweet and Heartbreaking but done so well and on my Maleshep I choose Destory with high enough War Assest's that I got the Shepard breath shot and I love how they ended that how your Love is about to put your name on the wall but then does not then looks up and smiles because they know Shepard is still Alive. I love how Bioware added that awesome little Touch to the Destory ending. Then for my Femshep I choose Control as well. Then I did a 2nd Femshep playthrough and did Synthesis and enjoyed that one as well very Classic Sci-Fi feel to that ending.
