Another day, another un-proofread chapter.

 

Chapter 24:

LPKing and BioWareMod2 stare down the Lobbyists.


"So. You've returned."


"Yes, we've returne-"


"Quiet, newcomer. I wasn't talking to you. I was talking to my friend."

E-Ro shifts angrily on the spot. He was the one leading the expedition. And LPKing should show him the respect he deserves.


"Look, Prince, King, whatever. It's not too late to turn back. Abandon this madness. Just... let it go."

LPKing's eyes widen. He towers over Johnnie Walker.


"How DARE you say that as a means of mocking me! I give you chance after chance to live. But if you have a death wish, then I'll be glad to oblige!"

The corrupted poster growls at the diminutive BotMod, who quickly locks the area down. No interruptions, no escape.

BioWareMod2 is the first to attack, firing off warning points at both E-Ro and Johnnie Walker.



Despair Demon spots an opening. With LPKing distracted with E-Ro and Walker, he darts into LPKing's blindspot and slashes at the shocked Swine King.



budgee attempts to do the same, tracing Despair Demon's path through the melee. But LPKing was ready for an attack this time around, and budgee is unable to connect with his Hand-Axe.



Requiring focus, E-Ro pulls out a scroll containing YouTube links to all his favourite Hip-Hop music videos containing women dominating subservient men. With his body and will fortified, E-Ro is ready to fight at his best.




"I feel like I can take on anyone now! Man, if I could superimpose OWA's face onto all these Dominatrices, I'd be invincible after watching these clips!"

Quickly losing patience for the Lobbyists, LPKing attacks E-Ro and Johnnie Walker with a vicious Butcher Knife.



BioWareMod2 meanwhile, is content to let the warning points add up.



As LPKing prepares to strike again, mybudgee notices a weak spot in the King's attack patterns. He doesn't hesitate, immediately going for the weak spot. He doesn't miss.



LPKing staggers for a moment, allowing both Walker and Despair Demon to strike.






"ENOUGH! Can't you see that you're all poisoning the decency of the Lobby?! I'm trying to help!"



E-Ro retaliates, striking hard against the Swine King.



Despair Demon on the other hand, continues poking and prodding, hoping for a lucky kill shot. He moves swiftly, slashing relentlessly.



Dodging the easily telegraphed attacks from LPKing.

BioWareMod2's mouth contorts into an evil looking smile as he fires off even more warning points at the Lobbyists.




"Not today, BioWareMod2."

E-Ro on the other hand, started to feel the pressure of all the warning points.


"So many notifications... I don't know if I can handle them all. I can't even post again until I "accept" all of these warnings."

In case I might actually get banned for posting that, I have to state that it's obviously not a real warning point but an edit for comedic purposes.

LPKing takes advantage of E-Ro's wavering resolve, he strikes E-Ro hard, knocking him down to the ground.



Another blow like that would send E-Ro to Death's Door, but the Crusader is in no shape to defend himself.


"Now you DIE!!!"


"That's enough! Don't kill him! PLEASE STOP THIS, YUVRAJ!!

Johnnie Walker leaps in front of E-Ro, desperate to prevent LPKing from killing him. Gripping her Glaive tightly, she holds it out as a means of distancing the injured Crusader from LPKing's killing blow. However, LPKing is too blinded by bloodlust, and charges right through the Glaive.

Killing him.



The stunned Hellion drops her weapon, and watches as LPKing's body fades away into dust.


"I-is he actually dead...?"

Despair Demon rushes towards E-Ro and helps the man up.


"T-thanks DD."


"Hey, don't thank me. Thank Walker, she just saved your life."


"Yeah.. Walker, thank you."


"Yeah, E-Ro. Don't mention it..."

She turns away and stares at the cold ground where LPKing fell. Unlike last time, she wasn't sure whether it was over. Whether her friend was truly gone. And whether she was responsible for his death. Putting her head in her hands, the Hellion didn't know what to think.


"Now, for our other 'friend'."

E-Ro and Despair Demon turn their attention back to BioWareMod 2, who was quivering.


"G-guys... don't you t-think this is all over the t-top?? I m-mean, LPKing had such a high postcount, you surely can't b-blame me if I did as he asked... right? He revived me after last time! I h-had to do what he said! I'm a m-mod! I've got a f-family to feed...! You wouldn't harm me, would you...?"

Despair Demon smirks and pulls out his pistol to finish the job. However, he doesn't get the final word.


"Of course we'd harm you, ModBot. Pssh, nothin' personal kid."



With budgee striking the final blow, he and Despair Demon had no clear winner to their little bet. With their contest a draw, and with questions still hovering regarding LPKing, the Lobbyists return to town with a great deal of uncertainty hanging over them.

But at least they return to town, alive and victorious.

DobbySaurus is the first to speak up.
 

"That's kind of why I came, to purge the evil here. But first tell me about this squid you saw. I am, erhm, intrigued."
 

"The squid? Nothing much, except that we fight and slay the beast!"
