Yeah, that all sounds about right.

"Hmph. I may have gotten weird looks at the hospital, but devouring those umbilical cords paid off."

Ha! Gross.

Getting to his feet and standing firm, Recon pulls out his War Banner to inspire the others.






"By all that you hold dear on this good earth, I bid you, stand Fast Jimmy!"

Jimmy immediately jumps to his feet, and after a brief moment of saluting the Banner, he attacks the Swinetaur head-on.



A vicious flurry later and the huge foe goes down.




"Really, Jimmy? Really?"


"Yes."

Oh, come on, this is TOTALLY ludicrous.

That's a picture of Twilight Sparkle, not Princess Luna!



...errr... I mean, I don't watch that dumb show. I've got my daughter watching Samurai Jack now instead!

Great post again, Crusty. How you do this daily (even multiple times a day) is a feat of legendary proportions.

I'm trying to integrate the two so that it all wraps itself up nicely. Then I can revisit it when the game goes gold in October and features new content. If I wanted to, I could finish the rest of the current game's core content in about an hour and a half. But that leaves me a mountain of screenshots to deal with, so I'm taking it quite slowly and only playing one week at a time. DD's structure is very helpful. I went and finished JA 2 and Fallout 2, leaving myself with literally thousands of screenshots to sort through and that just killed my enthusiasm in completing those LPs.

Chapter 33:

The sewers and never ending corridors of the Warrens begin to take their toll on the Lobbyists. Walker spurs the team on at a rapid pace, yet they're forced to stop every few hours to rest, recover and eat.



As they continue their trek, Fast Jimmy spots something he can't resist taking.




"Heh. Cute. Good for you, Jimmy."

Eyeing the condescending Occultist, he quickly pockets the cloth, satisfied with what he had found.



Despite several opportunities to rest, or leave the Warrens altogether, Walker impresses on the team that they were there to exterminate every single enemy they could find.

And they found many.



They fought them in the filthy hallways.



And in the open caverns.



Fighting for sheer survival.



Grinding out tough, and character building victories.



Avoiding the very worst of what their enemies could throw at them.



Whilst delivering killer blow, after killer blow.



Many tough battles later, the Lobbyists still haven't wiped the Warrens of life. Walker suggests a short reprieve.




"This sh*t, it never ends."

Chuckling, Walker leads the team to the next room, and their next battle.



Unfortunately, news of their exploits had already reached this group of enemies, who were more than ready to kill the Lobbyists where they stood. The giant Swinetaur charges at the group, goring Walker.



The Hellion is knocked down and pushed to the back of the formation. However the Swinetaur is far from done, turning back around, he charges again at the Lobbyists. This time, striking Fast Jimmy.



Walker struggles to get up, but as she does so, she's greeted by a vicious Spiked Ball to the face from a veteran Swine Captain.



The Swine Captain hovers over an incapacitated Jimmy, and smashes the Bounty Hunter in the face.



Desperate to gain some separation, Recon swings his mighty Sword at the Swinetaur, pushing their enemies back and giving the Lobbyists some breathing room.




"Get the hell away from us! Tch. Just look at that disgusting plot. Makes me want to throw up. What a waste."

However, in his disgust, the Crusader fails to follow up his attack, giving the Swinetaur ample room to prepare for another charge. He realises his mistake far too late, and is unable to defend himself as the Swinetaur penetrates through the entire Lobbyist formation.



Already caught off-guard by previous blows, Walker suffers a grievous injury and falls over. She begins to cough bloodd as numerous wounds begin opening up.



Fast Jimmy on the other hand, is trampled by the Swinetaur's charge. Bruised and battered, he holds onto his life by a thread.



Panic begins to engulf the remaining Lobbyists as their prospects of survival look more and more grim.



Thinking quickly, Recon rushes to Johnnie Walker and unfurls his War Banner once more.






"Aww hell no, you can f*ck right off with that bullsh*t. I'll keep fighting if you promise to keep that clopping sh*t right the f*ck away!"


"IT'S NOT CLOPPING YOU SICK FAK! I HATE CELESTIA!! THE BANNER INSPIRES ME TO KEEP FIGHTING BECAUSE I REALLY ENJOY SEEING CELESTIA AND HER TIGHT PLOT STRUGGLE UNDER HEAVY DURESS! HOW ON EARTH IS THAT WRONG, YOU DIRTY IMPLIER?!"

Walker, high on an adrenaline rush, sprints in the direction of the Swinetaur, dodging it's lance thrusts while slashing it wildly with her Halberd, inflicting serious damage on the beast.



Recon puts the banner away and follows suit. The Swinetaur is bleeding heavily with gashes and wounds everywhere, Recon slashes at the beast's thick skin, wounding it further and pushing it to the edge of death.



The powerful combination of Johnnie Walker and Inquisitor Recon prove too much for the Swinetaur to handle. The wounds too deadly. It stumbles overs and bleeds out, leaving the Lobbyists alone with the Swine Captain.



As the Swinetaur goes down, Dominus leans over Jimmy's unconscious body and whispers dark magic into his ears.



The Bounty Hunter immediately gets up, and pushes aside his comrades to attack the Swine Captain. The foe, who wasn't expecting such a recovery from Jimmy, was unprepared for the powerful Hand-Axe blow.



Rattled, the Swine Captain targets his Ball and Chain at Jimmy, but the Bounty Hunter silently avoids the attack.



Without a word, Jimmy once again breaches the defence of the Swine Captain, this time slaying the beast outright with another powerful swing of his trusty Hand-Axe.



With their enemies finally dead, the Lobbyists are able to make camp.



As soon as they sit down, Dominus recites an unfathomable incantation.



Jimmy blinks, and looks at his surroundings, almost in a panic before promptly settling down.


"Hmm. I see. I could've sworn I... no, nevermind."

After a couple hours of light conversation and recovery, Walker extinguishes the campfire and they set off once more. Luckily for the Lobbyists, they were close to completing their extermination of the Warrens.

But it isn't just enemies that bar their progress as they find themselves blocked by Rubble momentarily.



Regardless, they come across the very last area on their map. They knew that the final remnants of whatever Swine lived in the Warrens would be gathered in the next room. So, both mentally and physicalled prepared, the Lobbyists step into that last room.



The Lobbyists, eager to head back, strike quickly and catch the Swine off-guard.



Their enemies react slowly to the raid, and pay the ultimate price.



With the smaller enemies out of the way, all that was left was yet another pesky Swinetaur. And this Swinetaur was no different to the others, attempting to skewer Recon with his first attack.



The Crusader manages to protect himself from any critical damage, but he's pushed to the back of the formation, giving the Swinetaur space to continue his assault on the Lobbyists.



The team continues to give ground to the Swinetaur and are under pressure to hold formation. The Swinetaur charges again, hoping to strike a fatal blow on the Lobbyists. But he misses at the vital moment.



Recon takes full advantage and advances back to the front of the formation with a leaping thrust attack.



The Swinetaur staggers backwards and is put off-balance by the attack, and the Lobbyists instinctively realise that this is their chance. Dominus follows up with a weakening curse on the beast.



And with the Swinetaur unable to defend himself, Jimmy leaps into action, delivering one final blow to end the engagement.



The Lobbyists all crumble on the spot and breath collectively as one. It was a painfully long expedition, but it needed to be done. And now that it was, they were overcome with relief.


"Oh, thank Luna it's over! I swear, if I can get out of this alive, I'll give up cl...apping loudly over other people!"

The battle is over. The quest completed, and the Warrens completely wiped of hostiles - for the moment. The Lobbyists have dealt a powerful blow to LPPrince's plans. Maybe, just maybe, forcing him to act out in the open. If he's still alive, of course.

Wow, I sure seemed to lay down some heavy Crits in this one.

Clearly, my bounty hunter knows to hold nothing back and puts all his efforts into the task at hand, saving nothing for future installments. My efforts may ultimately be reset in the greater scheme of things, but my focus will be true... down with the Save Import!

Chapter 34:

The Lobbyists barely arrive back at town to patch their wounds when a nervous Voxr approaches them with news.


"Guys! A letter has come in the mail! It's from an 'LPGod'. Is that LPPrince?"

Walker snatches the letter and reads it aloud for the whole group.



Walker scrunches up the paper into a ball and flings it at a nearby trashcan, knocking it over.


"See, guys? It worked. This is what I was waiting for. Let's head back in."

Recon shrugs, then nods respectfully at the Hellion with Jimmy and Dominus following up from the rear.


"I hope they don't die. Well, maybe Recon can die. That guy's clopping fetish creeps me out..."

The Lobbyists enter into the Deep Warrens for round 2. With the majority of life exterminated, getting to LPPrince wouldn't be so difficult.



They traverse the many hallways.



And the now-empty caverns.



However, as expected, the narrow corridors of the Warrens were still dangerous and treacherous for the group. They encounter several traps, with Recon being caught off-guard the most.



They come across a large barrel as they inch closer and closer towards LPGod.



Rushing ahead of the group, Walker isn't able to contain her excitement.


"Alcohol! F*ck yeah! It's mine, b*tches. Stay away!"

Disinfecting the barrel and the alcohol, she takes a swig. Or two. Three, actually. Maybe four. Or more.



They press onward down the winding halls and sewers until they come to a quiet room with a Shrine to LPPrince.




"They built a shrine to him, it's a little over the to- what are you two doing?"

Dominus turns his attention to Jimmy and Recon who had torn the giant banner for the shrine. He gives off a quizzical look at Walker who shrugs as the Bounty Hunter and Crusader begin to kneel.


"The f*ck are you n*ggas doing?"

To her astonishment, Recon and Jimmy both pull out rosaries and begin to pray.




"Our Goddess who art in Heaven, hallowed be your plot. Your Kingdom come, your Will be done, on BSN, as it is in Equestria. Give us this day our daily clop, and forgive us our heresies, as we forgive those who speak heresy against us. And lead us not into furry temptation, but deliver us from their evil. Hail Luna."

"This is why I went cold turkey."

Standing to their feet, Recon and Jimmy are visibly refreshed by the prayer. Their devotion to Luna restoring their vigor and eagerness for the fight. Though it has the opposite effect on Dominus and Johnnie Walker.


"Where's Prince? Let me at him. I need to purge him for his disturbing heresy!"

They press forward, and unlike earlier, Jimmy is able to pick out traps much more quickly and dismantle them.



They soon reach LPPrince, or LPGod as he was calling himself now. The twisted hallways finally ended, leading to just one, single chamber. This had to be it. Steeling themselves, the Lobbyists step inside. And find who they're looking for.




"I had hoped you would be smart about this, Heather. But clearly your group's lack of posts blinds you to the obvious truth. If only you could see the forumtopia we will create... but, you always had a rebellious streak in you. I admired it, once. Now I see what a hindrance it is, and even though you are my friend, nothing will stand in my way. Prepare to die."


"Time for the banhammer!"

BioWareMod02, as crafty as ever, begins the battle by issuing two warning points a piece to Recon and Walker.



Luckily for the Lobbyists, Recon and Walked enjoyed antagonising the moderator and strike hard at LPGod. In close quarters, the massive poster was unable to defend himself.



LPGod soon manages to get some distance from the harrying melee warriors however, and the moment he does so, he brings down his banhammer with tremendous force, knocking the wind out of both of them.



Dominus quickly shares secret knowledge with Walker, setting up an alt account for her to use as she struggles to get up off the ground.



Meanwhile, Jimmy hits LPGod with some hard truths courtesy of his Handaxe.


"I respected you as a quality poster! But this is so perverse, you can't even begin to justify what you're doing!"



However LPGod shoves the Bounty Hunter out of the way, pronouncing judgement on Walker and Recon once more.



Walker falls over, her alt account banned before she could even get a good hit.



Thinking quickly, Dominus lends Walker one of his alt accounts to continue the fight.



The Hellion thanks Dominus before charging at LPGod and dealing massive damage to the huge beast.




"Argh! Stop! Heather! Recon! Dominus! Jimmy! You're all my friends, so why are you fighting me?! I'm fighting for you guys too, a future that you would all be proud of!"

LPGod shakes his head and summons the entirety of his strength and life force.


"I am sad you will not live to see the dawn with me. But until I can see the sun rise, I will fight!"

LPGod brings down his banhammer once more, in most convincing fashion. Recon and Walker are completely blown away by the attack.



Exhausting alt after alt, Walker falls to the ground again. No match for LPGod's overwhelming power.



Recon the sturdiest of Crusaders also begins to wane in strength, as he too reaches Death's Door.



Weakened, and out of breath, LPGod commands BioWareMod02 to continue the assault. The moderator obliges, giving Dominus a brutal verbal warning, stunning the Occultist.



Recon pulls out his banner and leans on it as he struggles to get up.



Slowly walking towards Johnnie Walker, he raises the banner up high.




"It's been an honour fighting with you, Walker. Get up, so that we can fight 'till the bitter end. And once the final banhammer comes for us all, we can post again, together, the four of us. At mlpforums.com"

Walker jumps to her feet in an instant. She had never felt the fear of death, until now. However, BioWareMod02 was still pressing his attack and the moderator fires off two more warning points at the two of them. Recon is knocked back to the ground while Walker braces for impact using her Halberd.



Jimmy slips under the guard of BioWareMod02 and rushes LPGod. Knowing the exact moment to strike, he brings his Handaxe down on their enemy hard.



LPGod wobbles, at the verge of death, but is defended by BioWareMod02, who forces Jimmy back. However while Jimmy and BioWareMod02 are occupied, a lone figure limps towards the self-proclaimed God.


"It's over, LPPrince. No, I'm not going to call you LPGod or some stupid sh*t. Despite the posts and friendships you've made, you chose to turn your back on all of us for the BotMods. And for that, there can be only one punishment."



LPGod topples over, dead once and for all.


"NOOOOOO!!! WE WERE SO CLOSE, SO DAMN CLOSE TO BRINGING ABOUT THE FORUMTOPIA! THIS ISN'T OVER, YOU FILTHY LOBBYISTS! NOT BY A LONG SHOT!"

BioWareMod02 shrieks as he scuttles out of battlefield and flees the area.


"What did the Mod mean by that, I wonder?"

Whatever BioWareMod02 meant by the comments, the Lobbyists were too wounded to do anything about it. With LPGod dead, they sit down, bandage their wounds and stay for a while. Quest completed.



For the moment.
