Chapter 35:

Victorious from their battle against LPPrince and BioWareMod02, the returning Lobbyists head straight for the Tavern. Wounds and injuries could wait when booze and celebrations were on offer.


"Hey! When are we going to take down the Necromancer?!"


"Uhhh. Now, if you like. Getting angry is so unbecoming."


"Я не сержусь, ты, сука!"

A fuming Bison drags his team out to the Ruins.


"We are going now. I really want to kill some c*unts. Now that I don't play DotA anymore, it's all I think about. I want to slaughter all the motherf*ckers. Kill them all. я просто нужно, чтобы купаться в их крови!"

Exchanging concerned glances, budgee, Sully and ruggly reluctantly follow the Crusader into the Ruins.


"MOBA withdrawal symptoms are scary..."



Luckily for Bison, they don't wander for long before an opportunity to sate his bloodlust presents itself.



Sully reacts first to the group of enemies, and clouds them in toxic gas.



The gas puts the Bandit Gunner off-guard, and he misses the group as he hastily tries firing at them.



One of the Rogues however, managed to slip past Bison and budgee, slashing ferociously at Sully. Weak in close quarters combat, the Plague Doctor sustains heavy injuries from the exchange.



budgee meanwhile goes toe to toe with the large Bandit Bloodletter, landing a powerful blow.



However, the Bloodletter pulls out his Flail Whip and swings viciously, cutting open the entire group.



Pushing Bison out of the way, budgee makes his way back to the front, bringing his Handaxe down on the Bloodletter's head once more, this time, taking him out for good.



ruggly finishes off the Bandits with a toxic smog of her own, not really caring about a visibly annoyed Bison.



The team rests for a while in an empty room where Bison attempts to force Sullu into a game of Hearthstone. She reluctantly accepts, greatly improving the Crusader's mood. budgee meanwhile scouts the surrounding area, ensuring that the Lobbyists would have some idea of what was still to come.


"Heh. U gon' get #shrekt nublet."


"Whatever, just don't bother me about this game again for at least 8 months."



With confidence, they move onto the next room and encounter a group of undead.



Prepared for conflict, ruggly throws sachets of stun powder at their foes. She's successful and dazes two Bone Nobles.



Sully follows up her teammate's good work by flooding the room with toxic gas, attempting to rot the skeletons. Non-toxic to the Lobbyists of course, that would make for an awkward situation.



It soon takes effect.



Bison charges at the remaining skeletons, engaging one of the soldiers in melee. He brings his sword down, rattling it's bones on impact.



While giving himself enough room to avoid it's counter attack.



As the gas fills the room, it eventually dissolves the larger and more powerful skeletons. The battle is won without further danger to the Lobbyists.



Not one to let dead bodies trigger her, Sully opens up the Sarcophagus and loots everything of worth left inside.



The Lobbyists continue their journey towards the Necromancer, exploring the dimly hit hallways in the Ruins.



However, they soon become hungry.



Thinking fast, budgee quickly whips something up for the rest of the team to eat.


"It's a secret mix of foods I've been trying out. I call it the 'Kim', don't be shy, eat up."


"Is there shark meat in here? This 'Kim' is a bit flake-y."


"Yeah... I guess you could say that... yeah..."

budgee sighs as the Lobbyists, satisfied with their meal, press onward.

They soon encounter another batch of enemies.



ruggly once again tries to stun their opponents with her stun powder, but they deftly avoid the thrown sachets this time around.



One of the Bone Nobles retaliates by throwing his goblet of acidic sludge at Sully.



Though the physical damage is minimal, the stress of it all begins to crush the Plague Doctor. She questions in her own mind why she was even out here, when Bison was the only one who wanted to travel to the Ruins in the first place. Her resolve is tested.



However, she digs deep and puts aside all negative thoughts.




"What am I now, an SJW? No way I'm going to let this stuff get to me. I'm not that weak."



She fires back at the undead, filling the area with toxic gas.



ruggly joins her fellow Plague Doctor.



And together, the two of them eliminate the Bone Nobles in short order.



One of the soldiers attempts to slice Sully open, but with her renewed focus, she doesn't let it come close.



Swiftly pulling a grenade out of her pouch, she unleashes yet another toxic attack, this time at the Skeleton Knight.



The Knight is pushed back, and budgee senses his opening. Rushing forward to close the distance, he quickly gets under the Knight's guard, and brings down his Handaxe to take it out.



The skeletons quickly fade away and dissolve into a pile of nothing, the Lobbyists victors.



Approaching the nearby Shrine after the battle, Sully receives favour of the Divine for her resolute heart.




"Sure, why not?"

Though they still had a long way to go if they wanted to complete their mission, the Lobbiysts were handling things okay thus far. And it is with that mindset that Bison leads the group further and further into the Ruins to confront the Necromancer once and for all.
