I thought you had a decent amount of time to do the bomb mission. I even held off on doing it in another playthrough of mine so that I could have Kaidan/Tali with me during it and it worked fine.

This time around, I cured the genophage and then immediately after, I received a message from Wrex saying Eve was dead and a good chunk of the Krogan clan. At the same time, I also received a message from him all happy and talking about making babies, and then a message from Primarch Victus saying his son says I might help prevent the bomb from going off. So... what happened?

After rescuing the platoon, I did complete the Cerberus artifact mission and the mission on Benning. Is that what did it? D: I'm disappoint, because I don't have a save prior to the genophage mission.

If you've rescued Victus' son and his squad, you've to do the bomb mission within the next three missions, else the bomb will detonate.

And you have to do the bomb mission BEFORE curing the Genophage. Period.

If you don't, it goes off when the clans gather in the Kelphic Valley. Because Cerberus doesn't want the Krogan to get stronger in any way, shape, or form.

This is incorrect. E.g., I've done the bomb mission with Tali onboard.

Taki is right, there is a 3 missions timer after the Turian Platoon (like the one at Grissom Academy), if the mission is not done until then the bomb explodes.

I also think the Shroud mission is counted for those three. So in OP's case, Benning, Cerberus Lab and Shroud were the three missions.

I've done the bomb mission just before doing Chronos. How about that?

How was I able to do that? I will tell you.

Do the Rachni mission then cure/sabotage the genophage. Do the Turian platoon mission then Thessia followed by Horizon and the bomb mission will still be available.

If the Turian platoon mission is done, up to 2 missions can be completed and still able to do the bomb mission otherwise the bomb goes boom if a third mission is completed before the bomb.

Here's another secret. Do Turian platoon mission and then do as many missions as you want. Doesn't matter if its dlc or not. Once the player completes whatever missions he/she wants to complete, do the bomb mission and then cure/sabotage the genophage. If you don't do the bomb mission, but cure/sabotage the genophage, the bomb will go boom and it will show up when checking assets

That's incorrect. See my post above
